1 Ao mestre de canto. Salmo dos filhos de Coré. Povos, aplaudi com as mãos, aclamai a Deus com vozes alegres,2 porque o Senhor é o Altíssimo, o temível, o grande Rei do universo.3 Ele submeteu a nós as nações, colocou os povos sob nossos pés,4 escolheu uma terra para nossa herança, a glória de Jacó, seu amado.5 Subiu Deus por entre aclamações, o Senhor, ao som das trombetas.6 Cantai à glória de Deus, cantai; cantai à glória de nosso rei, cantai.7 Porque Deus é o rei do universo; entoai-lhe, pois, um hino!8 Deus reina sobre as nações, Deus está em seu trono sagrado.9 Reuniram-se os príncipes dos povos ao povo do Deus de Abraão, pois a Deus pertencem os grandes da terra, a ele, o soberanamente grande.

All ye peoples, clap the hand, Shout to God with a voice of singing,2 For Jehovah Most High [is] fearful, A great king over all the earth.3 He leadeth peoples under us, and nations under our feet.4 He doth choose for us our inheritance, The excellency of Jacob that He loves. Selah.5 God hath gone up with a shout, Jehovah with the sound of a trumpet.6 Praise God -- praise -- give praise to our king, praise.7 For king of all the earth [is] God, Give praise, O understanding one.8 God hath reigned over nations, God hath sat on His holy throne,9 Nobles of peoples have been gathered, [With] the people of the God of Abraham, For to God [are] the shields of earth, Greatly hath He been exalted!
