1 Yahweh says:
"Maintain justice
and do what is right,
for my salvation is near
and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man who does this,
and the son of man who holds it fast;
who keeps the Sabbath without profaning it
and keeps his hand from doing any evil."
3 Let no foreigner who has joined himself to Yahweh speak, saying,
"Yahweh will surely separate me from his people."
Do not let the eunuch say, "Behold, I am a dry tree."
4 For Yahweh says, "To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths,
choose the things that please me,
and hold fast to my covenant,
5 I will give them in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters.
I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.
6 Also the foreigners who join themselves to Yahweh
to serve him,
and to love Yahweh’s name,
to be his servants,
everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it,
and holds fast my covenant,
7 I will bring these to my holy mountain,
and make them joyful in my house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar;
for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples."
8 The Lord Yahweh, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says,
"I will yet gather others to him,
in addition to his own who are gathered."
9 All you animals of the field,
come to devour,
all you animals in the forest.
10 His watchmen are blind.
They are all without knowledge.
They are all mute dogs.
They can’t bark—
dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yes, the dogs are greedy.
They can never have enough.
They are shepherds who can’t understand.
They have all turned to their own way,
each one to his gain, from every quarter.
12 "Come," they say, "I will get wine,
and we will fill ourselves with strong drink;
and tomorrow will be as today,
great beyond measure."

Ka Torona te Kawenata ki ngā Mea Katoa i Whakarongo
1 Ko te kupu tēnei a Ihowā:
"Puritia te whakawā,
mahia te tika;
nō te mea ka tata he putanga mō tāku whakaora,
he whakakitenga mō tōku tika.
2 Ka hari te tangata nāna tēnei mahi,
te tama a te tangata e pupuri nei i a ia, mau tonu;
e pupuri ana, ā, kāhore e whakapoke i te hāpati,
e tiaki ana i tōna ringa kei mahi i tētahi hē."
3 Kaua hoki te tama a te tangata kē,
kua honoa nei ki a Ihowā, e kōrero, e mea,
"He pono ka wehea rawatia mai ahau
e Ihowā i roto i tāna iwi."
Kaua anō te unaka e kī,
"Nanā, he rākau maroke ahau."
4 Ko tā Ihowā kupu hoki tēnei:
"Mō ngā unaka e pupuri ana i āku hāpati,
e whiriwhiri ana i ngā mea e paingia ana e ahau,
ā, e hopu ana i tāku kawenata;
5 ka hoatu e ahau he wāhi ki a rātou
i roto i tōku whare, i roto anō i ōku taiepa,
he ingoa anō e pai ake ana i o ngā tama, i o ngā tamāhine;
he ingoa mau tonu tāku e hoatu ai ki a rātou,
he mea e kore e hātepea atu.
ā, e hopu ana i tāku kawenata –
7 ka kawea rātou e ahau ki tōku maunga tapu,
ka whakahari anō ahau i a rātou i roto i tōku whare īnoi;
ka manakohia ā rātou tahunga tinana,
me ā rātou patunga tapu i runga i tāku āta;
nō te mea ka kīia tōku whare, he whare īnoi
mō ngā iwi katoa."
8 He kupu tēnei nā te Ariki, nā Ihowā,
nā te kaikohikohi mai o te hunga o Īharaira i peia atu,
"Kua kohikohia ērā ki a ia;
10 Ko ōna tūtei, he matapō katoa,
kāhore e mōhio;
he kurī reokore katoa rātou,
e kore e tau;
he momoe, he takoto,
e matenui ana ki te moe.
11 Āe rā, he kurī apo kai rātou;
kāhore rawa e mākona.
He hēpara ēnei e kore e ngoto te mātauranga;
anga katoa ana rātou ki tōna ara, ki tōna ara,
ki te mea taonga mōna i tōna wāhi, i tōna wāhi.
12 Ko tā rātou kī, "Haere mai, māku e tiki he wāina,
kia nui anō tā tātou inu i te wai kaha;
ā, ka rite te rā āpōpō ki tēnei rā,
he rā kei runga noa atu tōna nui."
