1 Preparado está o meu coração, ó Deus; cantarei e darei louvores até com a minha glória.2 Despertai, saltério e harpa; eu mesmo despertarei ao romper da alva.3 Louvar-te-ei entre os povos, Senhor, e a ti cantarei louvores entre as nações.4 Porque a tua benignidade se estende até aos céus, e a tua verdade chega até às mais altas nuvens.5 Exalta-te sobre os céus, ó Deus, e a tua glória sobre toda a terra.6 Para que sejam livres os teus amados, salva-nos com a tua destra, e ouve-nos.7 Deus falou na sua santidade; eu me regozijarei; repartirei a Siquém, e medirei o vale de Sucote.8 Meu é Gileade, meu é Manassés; e Efraim a força da minha cabeça, Judá o meu legislador.9 Moabe a minha bacia de lavar; sobre Edom lançarei o meu sapato, sobre a Filístia jubilarei.10 Quem me levará à cidade forte? Quem me guiará até Edom?11 Porventura não serás tu, ó Deus, que nos rejeitaste? E não sairás, ó Deus, com os nossos exércitos?12 Dá-nos auxílio para sair da angústia, porque vão é o socorro da parte do homem.13 Em Deus faremos proezas, pois ele calcará aos pés os nossos inimigos.

1 A song or psalm of David.(108:2) My heart is firm, O God; I will sing and give praise, even with my spirit.2 (108:3) Awake, psaltery and harp: I will wake up the morningdawn.3 (108:4) I will give thee thanks among the people, O Lord: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.4 (108:5) For great above the heavens is thy kindness, and thy truth reacheth even unto the skies.5 (108:6) Exalt thyself above the heavens, O God; and above all the earth thy glory.6 (108:7) In order that thy beloved may be delivered: help with thy right hand, and answer me.7 (108:8) God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and the valley of Succoth will I measure out.8 (108:9) Mine id Gilad, and mine is Menasseh; Ephraim also is the stronghold of my head; of Judah are my chiefs.9 (108:10) Moab is my washpot; upon Edom will I cast my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.10 (108:11) Who will bring me into the fortified city? who will lead me as far as Edom?11 (108:12) Behold, it is thou, O God, who hast cast us off; and thou, O God, goest not forth with our armies.12 (108:13) Give us help against the assailant; for vain is the help of man.13 (108:14) Through God shall we do valiantly; for he it is that will tread down our adversaries.
