1 O Senhor reina; está vestido de majestade. O Senhor se revestiu e cingiu de poder; o mundo também está firmado, e não poderá vacilar.2 O teu trono está firme desde então; tu és desde a eternidade.3 Os rios levantam, ó Senhor, os rios levantam o seu ruído, os rios levantam as suas ondas.4 Mas o Senhor nas alturas é mais poderoso do que o ruído das grandes águas e do que as grandes ondas do mar.5 Mui fiéis são os teus testemunhos; a santidade convém à tua casa, Senhor, para sempre.

1 The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with excellency; the Lord is clothed, he hath girded himself with strength: therefore also the world is firmly established, that it cannot be moved.2 Firmly established is thy throne from the beginning: from everlasting art thou God.3 The rivers have lifted up, O Lord, the rivers have lifted up their voice; the rivers lift up their waves.4 But more than the noise of great waters, than the mighty billows of the sea, is the Lord excellent on high.5 Thy testimonies are exceedingly steadfast: in thy house abideth holiness, O Lord! to the utmost length of days.
