1 O rei se alegra em tua força, Senhor; e na tua salvação grandemente se regozija.2 Cumpriste-lhe o desejo do seu coração, e não negaste as súplicas dos seus lábios. (Selá.)3 Pois vais ao seu encontro com as bênçãos de bondade; pões na sua cabeça uma coroa de ouro fino.4 Vida te pediu, e lha deste, mesmo longura de dias para sempre e eternamente.5 Grande é a sua glória pela tua salvação; glória e majestade puseste sobre ele.6 Pois o abençoaste para sempre; tu o enches de gozo com a tua face.7 Porque o rei confia no Senhor, e pela misericórdia do Altíssimo nunca vacilará.8 A tua mão alcançará todos os teus inimigos, a tua mão direita alcançará aqueles que te odeiam.9 Tu os farás como um forno de fogo no tempo da tua ira; o Senhor os devorará na sua indignação, e o fogo os consumirá.10 Seu fruto destruirás da terra, e a sua semente dentre os filhos dos homens.11 Porque intentaram o mal contra ti; maquinaram um ardil, mas não prevalecerão.12 Assim que tu lhes farás voltar as costas; e com tuas flechas postas nas cordas lhes apontarás ao rosto.13 Exalta-te, Senhor, na tua força; então cantaremos e louvaremos o teu poder.

Selah.3 (21:4) For thou meetest him unasked with the blessings of happiness: thou settest on his head a crown of pure gold.4 (21:5) Life hath he asked of thee, thou gavest it to him, length of days for ever and ever.5 (21:6) Great is his honor through thy help: glory and majesty thou layest upon him.6 (21:7) For thou appointest him to be a blessing for ever: thou makest him glad with joy from thy presence.7 (21:8) For the king trusteth in the Lord; and through the kindness of the Most High shall he not be moved.8 (21:9) Thy hand will reach all thy enemies: thy right hand will reach those that hate thee.9 (21:10) Thou wilt render them as a fiery oven at the time of thy anger: the Lord in his wrath will destroy them, and a fire will devour them.10 (21:11) Their fruit wilt thou cause to perish from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.11 (21:12) For they directed against thee evil: they devised a mischievous purpose, which they were not able to perform.12 (21:13) For thou wilt make them turn their back; upon thy bow–strings thou wilt make ready thy arrows against their face.13 (21:14) Exalt thyself, O Lord, in thy strength; and we will sing and praise thy power.
