1 Senhor, não me repreendas na tua ira, nem me castigues no teu furor.2 Tem misericórdia de mim, Senhor, porque sou fraco; sara-me, Senhor, porque os meus ossos estão perturbados.3 Até a minha alma está perturbada; mas tu, Senhor, até quando?4 Volta-te, Senhor, livra a minha alma; salva-me por tua benignidade.5 Porque na morte não há lembrança de ti; no sepulcro quem te louvará?6 Já estou cansado do meu gemido, toda a noite faço nadar a minha cama; molho o meu leito com as minhas lágrimas,7 Já os meus olhos estão consumidos pela mágoa, e têm-se envelhecido por causa de todos os meus inimigos.8 Apartai-vos de mim todos os que praticais a iniquidade; porque o Senhor já ouviu a voz do meu pranto.9 O Senhor já ouviu a minha súplica; o Senhor aceitará a minha oração.10 Envergonhem-se e perturbem-se todos os meus inimigos; tornem atrás e envergonhem-se num momento.
