2 Szavamat Istenhez [emelem] és kiáltok; szavamat Istenhez [emelem], hogy figyelmezzen reám.

3 Nyomorúságom idején az Urat keresem; kezem feltartom éjjel szünetlenül; lelkem nem akar vigasztalást bevenni.

4 Istenrõl emlékezem és sóhajtok; róla gondolkodom, de elepedt az én lelkem. Szela.

5 Szemeimet ébren tartod; hánykolódom, de nem szólhatok.

6 Elmélkedem a régi napokról, a hajdankor éveirõl.

7 Megemlékezem éjjel az én énekeimrõl; szívemben elgondolkodom és azt kutatja lelkem:

8 Avagy mindörökké elvet-é az Úr? és nem lesz-é többé jóakaró?

9 Avagy végképen elfogyott-é az õ kegyelme? vagy megszûnik-é igérete nemzedékrõl nemzedékre?

10 Avagy elfelejtkezett-é könyörülni Isten? avagy elzárta-é haragjában az õ irgalmát? Szela.

11 És mondám: Ez az én betegségem, hogy a Fölségesnek jobbja megváltozott.

12 Megemlékezem az Úrnak cselekedeteirõl, sõt megemlékezem hajdani csodáidról;

13 És elmélkedem minden cselekedetedrõl, és tetteidrõl gondolkozom.

14 Oh Isten, a te utad szentséges; kicsoda olyan nagy Isten, mint az Isten?

15 Te vagy az Isten, a ki csodát mívelsz; megmutattad a népek között a te hatalmadat.

16 Megváltottad népedet karoddal a Jákób és a József fiait. Szela.

17 Láttak téged a vizek, oh Isten, láttak téged a vizek és megfélemlének; a mélységek is megrázkódának.

18 A felhõk vizet ömlesztének; megzendülének a fellegek, és a te nyílaid széllyel futkostanak.

19 Mennydörgésed zúgott a forgószélben; villámlásaid megvilágosították a mindenséget; megrázkódott és megindult a föld.

20 Utad a tengeren volt és ösvényed a nagy vizeken; és nyomaid nem látszottak meg. [ (Psalms 77:21) Vezetted mint nyájat, a te népedet, Mózesnek és Áronnak kezével. ]

9 Hath *God forgotten to be gracious? or hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

10 Then said I, This is my weakness: -the years of the right hand of the Most High

11 Will I remember, -the works of Jah; for I will remember thy wonders of old,

12 And I will meditate upon all thy work, and muse upon thy doings.

13 O God, thy way is in the sanctuary: who is so great a *god as God?

14 Thou art the *God that doest wonders; thou hast declared thy strength among the peoples.

15 Thou hast with {thine} arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

16 The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they trembled, yea, the depths were troubled:

17 The thick clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound, yea, thine arrows went abroad:

18 The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind, lightnings lit up the world; the earth was troubled and it quaked.

19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths are in the great waters; and thy footsteps are not known.

20 Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
