1 Salva-me, ó Deus, pelo teu nome; defende-me pelo teu poder.2 Ouve a minha oração, ó Deus; escuta as minhas palavras.3 Estrangeiros me atacam; homens cruéis querem matar-me, homens que não se importam com Deus. Pausa4 Certamente Deus é o meu auxílio; é o Senhor que me sustém.5 Recaia o mal sobre os meus inimigos! Extermina-os por tua fidelidade!6 Eu te oferecerei um sacrifício voluntário; louvarei o teu nome, ó Senhor, porque tu és bom.7 Pois ele me livrou de todas as minhas angústias, e os meus olhos contemplaram a derrota dos meus inimigos.

1 Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me in thy might.2 Hear my prayer, O God. Give ear to the words of my mouth.3 For strangers are risen up against me, and violent men have sought after my soul. They have not set God before them. Selah.4 Behold, God is my helper. LORD is of those who uphold my soul.5 He will requite the evil to my enemies. Destroy thou them in thy truth.6 With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to thee. I will give thanks to thy name, O LORD, for it is good.7 For he has delivered me out of all trouble, and my eye has seen [it] upon my enemies.
