1 O Senhor reina! As nações tremem! O seu trono está sobre os querubins! Abala-se a terra!2 Grande é o Senhor em Sião; ele é exaltado acima de todas as nações!3 Seja louvado o teu grande e temível nome, que é santo.4 Rei poderoso, amigo da justiça! Estabeleceste a eqüidade e fizeste em Jacó o que é direito e justo.5 Exaltem o Senhor, o nosso Deus, prostrem-se diante do estrado dos seus pés. Ele é santo!6 Moisés e Arão estavam entre os seus sacerdotes, Samuel, entre os que invocavam o seu nome; eles clamavam pelo Senhor, e ele lhes respondia.7 Falava-lhes da coluna de nuvem, e eles obedeciam aos seus mandamentos e aos decretos que ele lhes dava.8 Tu lhes respondeste, Senhor, nosso Deus; para eles, tu eras um Deus perdoador, embora os tenhas castigado por suas rebeliões.9 Exaltem o Senhor nosso Deus; prostrem-se, voltados para o seu santo monte, porque o Senhor, o nosso Deus, é santo.

1 LORD reigns! Let the peoples tremble. He sits [above] the cherubim, let the earth be moved.2 LORD is great in Zion, and he is high above all the peoples.3 Let them praise thy great and awesome name. Holy is he.4 The king's strength also loves justice. Thou establish equity. Thou execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.5 Exalt ye LORD our God, and worship at his footstool. Holy is he.6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among those who call upon his name, they called upon LORD, and he answered them.7 He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the statute that he gave them.8 Thou answered them, O LORD our God. Thou were a God who forgave them, though thou took vengeance on their doings.9 Exalt ye LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill. For LORD our God is holy.
