1 Misericórdia, ó Deus; misericórdia, pois em ti a minha alma se refugia. Sobre toda a terra esteja a tua glória!6 Preparam armadilhas para os meus pés; fiquei muito abatido. Abriram uma cova no meu caminho, mas foram eles que nela caíram. 1 Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for my soul takes refuge in thee. Yea, in the shadow of thy wings I will take refuge until calamities be passed by.2 I will cry to God Most High, to God who performs for me.3 He will send from heaven, and save me [from] the reproach of him who would swallow me up. Selah. God will send forth his loving kindness and his truth.4 My soul is among lions.
