1 Aleluia! Louvem, ó servos do Senhor, louvem o nome do Senhor!2 Seja bendito o nome do Senhor, desde agora e para sempre!3 Do nascente ao poente, seja louvado o nome do Senhor!4 O Senhor está exaltado acima de todas as nações; e acima dos céus está a sua glória.5 Quem é como o Senhor, o nosso Deus, que reina em seu trono nas alturas,6 mas se inclina para contemplar o que acontece nos céus e na terra?7 Ele levanta do pó o necessitado e ergue do lixo o pobre,8 para fazê-los sentar-se com príncipes, com os príncipes do seu povo.9 Dá um lar à estéril, e dela faz uma feliz mãe de filhos. 1 Praise ye LORD. Praise, O ye servants of LORD. Praise the name of LORD.2 Blessed be the name of LORD from this time forth and for evermore.3 From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same LORD's name is to be praised.4 LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.5 Who is like LORD our God who has his seat on high,6 and [yet] looks upon the low things in heaven and in the earth.7 He raises up a poor man out of the dust, and lifts up a needy man from the dunghill,8 that he may set him with rulers, even with the rulers of his people.9 He makes the barren woman to keep house, a joyful mother of sons.
