1 Aleluia! Louvem o Senhor desde os céus, louvem-no nas alturas!2 Louvem-no todos os seus anjos, louvem-no todos os seus exércitos celestiais.3 Louvem-no sol e lua, louvem-no todas as estrelas cintilantes.4 Louvem-no os mais altos céus e as águas acima do firmamento.5 Louvem todos eles o nome do Senhor, pois ordenou, e eles foram criados.6 Ele os estabeleceu em seus lugares para todo o sempre; deu-lhes um decreto que jamais mudará.7 Louvem o Senhor, vocês que estão na terra, serpentes marinhas e todas as profundezas,8 relâmpagos e granizo, neve e neblina, vendavais que cumprem o que ele determina,9 todas as montanhas e colinas, árvores frutíferas e todos os cedros,10 todos os animais selvagens e os rebanhos domésticos, todos os demais seres vivos e as aves,11 reis da terra e todas as nações, todos os governantes e juízes da terra,12 moços e moças, velhos e crianças.13 Louvem todos o nome do Senhor, pois somente o seu nome é exaltado; a sua majestade está acima da terra e dos céus.14 Ele concedeu poder ao seu povo, e recebeu louvor de todos os seus fiéis, dos israelitas, povo a quem tanto ama. Aleluia!

1 Praise ye LORD. Praise ye LORD from the heavens. Praise him in the heights.2 Praise ye him, all his [heavenly] agents. Praise ye him, all his host.3 Praise ye him, sun and moon. Praise him, all ye stars of light.4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.5 Let them praise the name of LORD. For he commanded, and they were created.6 He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which shall not pass away.7 Praise LORD from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps,8 fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind, fulfilling his word,9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,10 beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying birds,11 kings of the earth and all peoples, rulers and all judges of the earth,12 both young men and virgins, old men and sons.13 Let them praise the name of LORD, for his name alone is exalted. His glory is above the earth and the heavens.14 And he has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his sanctified, even of the sons of Israel, a people near to him. Praise ye LORD.
