A futura felicidade de Sião

1 O *Is 6.11;7.21-25;27.10;41.18;55.12-13deserto e a terra sedenta se regozijarão; o *Is 41.19;51.3ermo exultará e florescerá como o narciso. 2 *Is 27.6;32.15Florescerá abundantemente, e *Is 35.10;25.9;55.12-13;66.10,14exultará de júbilo, e romperá em cânticos; *Is 60.13dar-se-lhe-á *Ct 7.5a glória do Líbano, a excelência de Carmelo e de Sarom. Eles verão *Is 25.9a glória de Jeová, a excelência de nosso Deus.

5 Então, se abrirão *Is 29.18;32.3-4;42.7,16;50.4;Mt 11.5;Jo 9.6-7os olhos dos cegos, e se desimpedirão os ouvidos dos surdos. 6 Então, saltará *Mt 15.30;Jo 5.8-9;At 3.8o coxo como veado, e *Mt 9.32;Lc 11.14a língua dos mudos cantará de júbilo. Pois águas arrebentarão *Is 35.1;41.18;43.19;49.10;51.3;Jo 7.38no deserto, e torrentes, no ermo. 7 A miragem tornar-se-á em lagos, e a terra sedenta, em *Is 49.10mananciais de água; *Is 13.22;34.13na habitação onde se deitam os chacais, nascerá a erva com canas e juncos. 8 Haverá ali *Is 11.16;19.23;40.3;49.11;62.10uma estrada, *Is 30.21;51.10um caminho, que se chamará o Caminho *Is 4.3;52.1;Mt 7.13-14;1Pe 1.15-16Santo; não passará por ele o imundo, porém será para eles; *Is 33.8;Jr 14.8dos que caminham por ele, até os loucos, *Is 29.24não errarão. 9 Ali, *Is 5.29;21.8;30.6não haverá leão, por ali não subirão *Is 13.22;34.14feras de rapina; elas não se acharão ali, mas por ali andarão *Is 51.10;62.12;63.4os remidos. 10 Os *Is 1.27;51.11resgatados por Jeová voltarão e virão a Sião com cânticos de júbilo, e sobre as suas cabeças haverá alegria sempiterna; obterão alegria e gozo, e deles fugirá *Is 25.8;30.19;65.19;Ap 7.17;21.4a tristeza e o gemido.

1 The wilderness and the dry land will be glad.

The desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose.

2 It will blossom abundantly,

and rejoice even with joy and singing.

Lebanon’s glory will be given to it,

the excellence of Carmel and Sharon.

They will see Yahweh’s glory,

the excellence of our God.

3 Strengthen the weak hands,

and make the feeble knees firm.

4 Tell those who have a fearful heart, "Be strong!

Don’t be afraid!

Behold, your God will come with vengeance, God’s retribution.

He will come and save you.

5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened,

and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.

6 Then the lame man will leap like a deer,

and the tongue of the mute will sing;

for waters will break out in the wilderness,

and streams in the desert.

7 The burning sand will become a pool,

and the thirsty ground springs of water.

Grass with reeds and rushes will be in the habitation of jackals, where they lay.

8 A highway will be there, a road,

and it will be called "The Holy Way".

The unclean shall not pass over it,

but it will be for those who walk in the Way.

Wicked fools shall not go there.

9 No lion will be there,

nor will any ravenous animal go up on it.

They will not be found there;

but the redeemed will walk there.

10 Then Yahweh’s ransomed ones will return,

and come with singing to Zion;

and everlasting joy will be on their heads.

They will obtain gladness and joy,

and sorrow and sighing will flee away."
