1 Aclamai a Deus todas as terras. Cantai a glória do seu nome,

2 Rendei-lhe glória em cântico de louvor.

3 Dizei a Deus: Quão terríveis são as tuas obras! Pela grandeza da tua força se submeterão a ti os teus inimigos.

4 Toda a terra te adorará, E te cantará louvores; Eles cantarão o teu nome. (Selá)

5 Vinde e vede as obras de Deus; Terrível é ele nos seus feitos para com os filhos dos homens.

6 Converteu o mar em terra seca; Passaram a pé através do rio; Ali nos regozijamos nele.

7 Ele impera pelo seu poder para sempre; Os seus olhos estão de vigia sobre as nações; Não se exaltem os rebeldes. (Selá)

8 Bendizei, ó povos, a nosso Deus; E fazei que se ouça a voz do seu louvor;

9 O qual preserva em vida a nossa alma, E não permite que vacile o nosso pé.

10 Pois tu, ó Deus, nos tens posto à prova; Tens nos afinado, como se afina a prata.

11 Fizeste-nos entrar no laço do caçador; Pesada carga puseste sobre as nossas costas.

12 Fizeste que os homens cavalgassem sobre as nossas cabeças; Passamos pelo fogo e pela água, Mas nos trouxeste para a abundância.

13 Entrarei na tua casa com holocaustos, Pagar-te-ei os meus votos,

14 Os quais os meus lábios proferiram, E a minha boca prometeu, quando eu estava na angústia.

15 Oferecer-te-ei holocaustos de reses gordas, Com incenso de carneiros; Oferecerei novilhos com cabritos. (Selá)

16 Vinde, ouvi, vós todos os que temeis a Deus, E declararei o que tem feito por minha alma.

17 A ele clamei com a minha boca, E exaltei com a minha língua.

18 Se eu atender à iniqüidade no meu coração: O Senhor não ouvirá.

19 Mas na verdade Deus tem ouvido, Tem atendido à voz da minha oração.

20 Bendito seja Deus, Que não rejeitou a minha oração, Nem de mim apartou a sua benignidade.

2 Praise ye the honour of His name, Make ye honourable His praise.

3 Say to God, `How fearful [are] Thy works, By the abundance of Thy strength, Thine enemies feign obedience to Thee.

4 All the earth do bow to Thee, They sing praise to Thee, they praise Thy name.` Selah.

5 Come ye, and see the works of God, Fearful acts toward the sons of men.

6 He hath turned a sea to dry land, Through a river they pass over on foot, There do we rejoice in Him.

7 Ruling by His might to the age, His eyes among the nations do watch, The refractory exalt not themselves. Selah.

8 Bless, ye peoples, our God, And sound the voice of His praise,

9 Who hath placed our soul in life, And suffered not our feet to be moved.

10 For Thou hast tried us, O God, Thou hast refined us as the refining of silver.

11 Thou hast brought us into a net, Thou hast placed pressure on our loins.

12 Thou hast caused man to ride at our head. We have entered into fire and into water, And Thou bringest us out to a watered place.

13 I enter Thy house with burnt-offerings, I complete to Thee my vows,

14 For opened were my lips, And my mouth spake in my distress:

15 `Burnt-offerings of fatlings I offer to Thee, With perfume of rams, I prepare a bullock with he-goats.` Selah.

16 Come, hear, all ye who fear God, And I recount what he did for my soul.

17 Unto Him [with] my mouth I have called, And exaltation [is] under my tongue.

18 Iniquity, if I have seen in my heart, The Lord doth not hear.

19 But God hath heard, He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

20 Blessed [is] God, Who hath not turned aside my prayer, And His loving-kindness, from me!
