1 Not unto us, O Yahweh, not unto us,but, unto thine own Name, give glory, concerning thy lovingkindness, concerning thy faithfulness.2 Wherefore should the nations say, Pray where is their God?3 When, our God, is in the heavens, Whatsoever he pleased, hath he done.4 Their idols, are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men,5 A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not;6 Ears, have they, but they hear not, A nose, have they, but they smell not:7 Their hands! but they feel not Their feet! but they walk not, No sound make they in their throat.8 Like unto them, shall be they who make them, Every one who trusteth in them.9 O Israel! trust thou in Yahweh, Their help and their shield, is he!10 O house of Aaron! trust ye in Yahweh, Their help and their shield, is he!11 Ye that revere Yahweh! trust in Yahweh, Their help and their shield, is he!12 Yahweh, hath remembered us, he will blessHe will bless the house of Israel, He will bless the house of Aaron;13 He will bless them who revere Yahweh, the small with the great.14 Yahweh multiply you, You, and your children.15 Blessed are ye of Yahweh, who made the heavens and the earth:16 As for the heavens, the heavens, belong to Yahweh, but the earth, hath he given to the sons of men.17 The dead, cannot praise Yah, nor any that go down into silence;18 But, we, will bless Yah, from henceforth even unto times age-abiding. Praise ye Yah.

1 Não a nós, Senhor, não a nós, mas ao teu nome dá glória, por amor da tua benignidade e da tua verdade. 2 Por que dirão as nações: Onde está o seu Deus? 3 Mas o nosso Deus está nos céus e faz tudo o que lhe apraz. 4 Os ídolos deles são prata e ouro, obra das mãos dos homens. 5 Têm boca, mas não falam; têm olhos, mas não veem; 6 têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem; nariz têm, mas não cheiram. 7 Têm mãos, mas não apalpam; têm pés, mas não andam; nem som algum sai da sua garganta. 8 Tornem-se semelhantes a eles os que os fazem e todos os que neles confiam.

9 Confia, ó Israel, no Senhor; ele é teu auxílio e teu escudo. 10 Casa de Arão, confia no Senhor; ele é teu auxílio e teu escudo. 11 Vós, os que temeis ao Senhor, confiai no Senhor; ele é vosso auxílio e vosso escudo. 12 O Senhor, que se lembrou de nós, abençoará; abençoará a casa de Israel; abençoará a casa de Arão. 13 Abençoará os que temem ao Senhor, tanto pequenos como grandes.

14 O Senhor vos aumentará cada vez mais, a vós e a vossos filhos. 15 Sede benditos do Senhor, que fez os céus e a terra.

16 Os céus são os céus do Senhor; mas a terra, deu-a ele aos filhos dos homens. 17 Os mortos não louvam ao Senhor, nem os que descem ao silêncio. 18 Mas nós bendiremos ao Senhor, desde agora e para sempre. Louvai ao Senhor!
