Selah.10 Then said IAn affliction to me, it is, The changing of the right hand of the Most High.11 I will remember the doings of Yah, Surely I will remember, out of aforetime, thy wonderful way;12 And will talk to myself of all thy work, And, of thy doings, will I muse:13 O God, in the sanctuary, is thy way,Who is a great GOD like Elohim?14 Thou, art GOD, doing wonderfully,Thou hast made known, among the peoples, thy might;15 Thou didst redeem, with thine armThy people, Thy sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.16 The waters saw thee, O God, The waters saw thee, They were in birth-throes, Yea the resounding deeps were stirred;17 The clouds, poured down waters, The skies uttered, a voice, Yea, thine arrows, flew hither and thither;18 The, voice of thy thunder, was in the whirlwind, Thy lightnings illumined the world, The earth, trembled and quaked;19 In the sea, was thy way, And, thy path, in the mighty waters, And, thy footprints, could not be known:20 Thou didst lead, like a flock, thy people, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.

1 Clamei a Deus com a minha voz; a Deus levantei a minha voz, e ele inclinou para mim os ouvidos. 2 No dia da minha angústia busquei ao Senhor; a minha mão se estendeu de noite e não cessava; a minha alma recusava ser consolada.

3 Lembrava-me de Deus e me perturbava; queixava-me, e o meu espírito desfalecia. (Selá) 4 Sustentaste os meus olhos vigilantes; estou tão perturbado, que não posso falar. 5 Considerava os dias da antiguidade, os anos dos tempos passados. 6 De noite chamei à lembrança o meu cântico; meditei em meu coração, e o meu espírito investigou: 7 Rejeitará o Senhor para sempre e não tornará a ser favorável? 8 Cessou para sempre a sua benignidade? Acabou-se já a promessa que veio de geração em geração? 9 Esqueceu-se Deus de ter misericórdia? Ou encerrou ele as suas misericórdias na sua ira? (Selá) 10 E eu disse: isto é enfermidade minha; e logo me lembrei dos anos da destra do Altíssimo.

11 Lembrar-me-ei, pois, das obras do Senhor; certamente que me lembrarei das tuas maravilhas da antiguidade. 12 Meditarei também em todas as tuas obras e falarei dos teus feitos. 13 O teu caminho, ó Deus, está no santuário. Que deus é tão grande como o nosso Deus? 14 Tu és o Deus que fazes maravilhas; tu fizeste notória a tua força entre os povos. 15 Com o teu braço remiste o teu povo, os filhos de Jacó e de José. 16 As águas te viram, ó Deus, as águas te viram, e tremeram; os abismos também se abalaram. 17 Grossas nuvens se desfizeram em água; os céus retumbaram; as tuas flechas correram de uma para outra parte. 18 A voz do teu trovão repercutiu-se nos ares; os relâmpagos alumiaram o mundo; a terra se abalou e tremeu. 19 Pelo mar foi teu caminho, e tuas veredas, pelas grandes águas; e as tuas pegadas não se conheceram. 20 Guiaste o teu povo, como a um rebanho, pela mão de Moisés e de Arão.
