1 Declareth the transgression of the lawless one, within my heart, There is, no dread of God, before his eyes;2 For he flattereth himself .3 The words of his mouth, are iniquity and deceit, he hath left off to show discretion by doing well:4 Iniquity, deviseth he upon his bed,he taketh his stand in a way, not good, Wrong, doth he not abhor!5 O Yahweh! in the heavens, is thy lovingkindness, Thy faithfulness, as far as the fleecy clouds:6 Thy righteousness, is like mighty mountains, and, thy just decrees, are a great resounding deep,Man and beast, thou savest, O Yahweh!7 How precious thy lovingkindness, O God,Therefore, the sons of men, under the shadow of thy wings, seek refuge:8 They abundantly relish the fatness of thy house,And out of the full stream of thine own pleasures, thou givest them to drink.9 For, with thee, is the fountain of life, In thy light, we see light.10 Prolong thy lovingkindness unto them who know thee,and thy righteousness, to the upright in heart.11 Let not the foot of pride reach me, nor, the hand of the lawless, scare me away.12 There did the workers of iniquity fall,thrust down and not able to rise!

1 A prevaricação do ímpio fala no íntimo do seu coração; não há temor de Deus perante os seus olhos. 2 Porque em seus olhos se lisonjeia, até que a sua iniquidade se mostre detestável. 3 As palavras da sua boca são malícia e engano; deixou de entender e de fazer o bem. 4 Maquina o mal na sua cama; põe-se em caminho que não é bom; não aborrece o mal.

5 A tua misericórdia, Senhor, está nos céus, e a tua fidelidade chega até às mais excelsas nuvens. 6 A tua justiça é como as grandes montanhas; os teus juízos são um grande abismo; Senhor, tu conservas os homens e os animais. 7 Quão preciosa é, ó Deus, a tua benignidade! E por isso os filhos dos homens se abrigam à sombra das tuas asas. 8 Eles se fartarão da gordura da tua casa, e os farás beber da corrente das tuas delícias; 9 porque em ti está o manancial da vida; na tua luz veremos a luz.

10 Estende a tua benignidade sobre os que te conhecem, e a tua justiça sobre os retos de coração. 11 Não venha sobre mim o pé dos soberbos, e não me mova a mão dos ímpios. 12 Ali caem os obreiros da iniquidade; cairão e não se poderão levantar.
