Selah.8 Bless our God, O ye peoples, And cause to he heard, the sound of his praise;9 Who hath set our soul among the living, And hath not suffered, our foot, to slip.10 For thou didst prove us, O God, Thou didst refine us, according to the refining of silver:11 Thou didst bring us into the hunters net, Thou didst lay a load upon our loins;12 Thou didst let men ride at our head; We went into fire and into water, But thou didst bring us forth into freedom.13 I will enter thy house with ascending-sacrifices, I will pay unto thee my vows,14 Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, in my distress.15 Ascending-sacrifices of fatlings, will I cause to ascend unto thee, With the perfume of rams, I will offer bulls, with he-goats. Selah.16 Come! hearkenthat I may recount, all ye reverers of God, What he hath done for my soul:17 Unto himwith my mouth, did I cry, And high praise was under my tongue.18 If, iniquity, I had cared for in my heart, My Lord, had not heard me!19 But in truth, God hath heard, He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.20 Blessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, Nor his own lovingkindness from me.

1 Louvai a Deus com brados de júbilo, todas as terras. 2 Cantai a glória do seu nome; dai glória ao seu louvor. 3 Dizei a Deus: Quão terrível és tu nas tuas obras! Pela grandeza do teu poder se submeterão a ti os teus inimigos. 4 Toda a terra te adorará, e te cantará louvores, e cantará o teu nome. (Selá)

5 Vinde e vede as obras de Deus; é terrível nos seus feitos para com os filhos dos homens. 6 Converteu o mar em terra seca; passaram o rio a pé; ali nos alegramos nele. 7 Ele domina eternamente pelo seu poder; os seus olhos estão sobre as nações; não se exaltem os rebeldes. (Selá)

8 Bendizei, povos, ao nosso Deus e fazei ouvir a voz do seu louvor; 9 ao que sustenta com vida a nossa alma e não consente que resvalem os nossos pés. 10 Pois tu, ó Deus, nos provaste; tu nos afinaste como se afina a prata. 11 Tu nos meteste na rede; afligiste os nossos lombos. 12 Fizeste com que os homens cavalgassem sobre a nossa cabeça; passamos pelo fogo e pela água; mas trouxeste-nos a um lugar de abundância.

13 Entrarei em tua casa com holocaustos; pagar-te-ei os meus votos, 14 que haviam pronunciado os meus lábios, e dissera a minha boca, quando eu estava na angústia. 15 Oferecer-te-ei holocaustos de animais nédios, com odorante fumaça de carneiros; oferecerei novilhos com cabritos. (Selá)

16 Vinde e ouvi, todos os que temeis a Deus, e eu contarei o que ele tem feito à minha alma. 17 A ele clamei com a minha boca, e ele foi exaltado pela minha língua. 18 Se eu atender à iniquidade no meu coração, o Senhor não me ouvirá; 19 mas, na verdade, Deus me ouviu; atendeu à voz da minha oração.

20 Bendito seja Deus, que não rejeitou a minha oração, nem desviou de mim a sua misericórdia.
