1 O Senhor reina;

tremam os povos.

Ele está assentado entre

os querubins;

comova-se a terra.

2 O Senhor é grande em Sião,

e mais alto

do que todos os povos.

3 Louvem o teu nome,

grande e tremendo,

pois é santo.

4 Também o poder

do Rei ama o juízo;

tu firmas a equidade,

fazes juízo e justiça em Jacó.

5 Exaltai ao Senhor nosso Deus,

e prostrai-vos diante

do escabelo de seus pés,

pois é santo.

6 Moisés e Arão,

entre os seus sacerdotes,

e Samuel entre os

que invocam o seu nome,

clamavam ao Senhor,

e Ele lhes respondia.

7 Na coluna de nuvem lhes falava;

eles guardaram

os seus testemunhos,

e os estatutos que lhes dera.

8 Tu os escutaste, Senhor nosso Deus:

tu foste um Deus

que lhes perdoaste,

ainda que tomaste vingança

dos seus feitos.

9 Exaltai ao Senhor nosso Deus

e adorai-o no seu monte santo,

pois

o Senhor nosso Deus é santo.

1 Jehovah reigneth: let the peoples tremble. Thou hast established equity: it is thou that executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob. 5 Exalt Jehovah our God* and worship at his footstool. He is holy!

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name: they called unto Jehovah, and he answered them. 7 He spoke unto them in the pillar of cloud: they kept his testimonies, and the statute that he gave them. 8 Jehovah, our God*thou answeredst them: a forgiving ·God* wast thou unto them, though thou tookest vengeance of their doings. 9 Exalt Jehovah our God* and worship at the hill of his holiness; for holy is Jehovah our God*.
