1 Salmo de Davi. Cantarei a misericórdia e o juízo; a ti, ó SENHOR, eu cantarei.

2 Comportar-me-ei sabiamente no caminho perfeito. Oh, quando virás a mim? Andarei em minha casa com um coração perfeito.

3 Não porei coisa maligna diante dos meus olhos. Eu odeio a obra daqueles que se desviam; não me contaminará.

4 Um coração perverso se apartará de mim; eu não conhecerei a pessoa maligna.

5 Aquele que calunia o seu próximo secretamente, eu o cortarei; aquele que tem um olhar soberbo e um coração orgulhoso, eu não o suportarei.

6 Os meus olhos estarão sobre os fiéis da terra, para que eles habitem comigo; aquele que anda no caminho perfeito, esse me servirá.

7 Aquele que lida com engano não habitará dentro da minha casa; o que fala mentiras não permanecerá aos meus olhos.

8 Cedo irei destruir todos os ímpios da terra, cortarei todos os ímpios da cidade do SENHOR.

1 A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and judgment; to You, O LORD, I will sing praise.

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

3 I will set no wicked thing before my eyes. I have hated the work of those who turn aside; it shall not hold on to me.

4 A perverse heart will depart from me; I will not know the wicked.

5 [Whoever] secretly slanders his neighbor, I will cut him off; him who has a high look and a proud heart, I will not allow.

6 My eyes [shall be] on the faithful of the land, so that they may dwell with me; he who walks in a perfect way, he shall serve Me.

7 [He] who works falsely shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not stay in my sight.

8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land, so that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.
