1 Ao Músico-chefe de Neginote sobre Seminite, Salmo de Davi. Ó SENHOR, não me repreendas na tua ira, nem me castigues no teu ardente descontentamento.
2 Tem misericórdia de mim, Ó SENHOR, porque sou fraco; ó SENHOR, sara-me porque os meus ossos estão perturbados.
3 Minha alma também está dolorosamente perturbada; mas tu, ó SENHOR, por quanto tempo?
4 Retorna, ó SENHOR, liberta a minha alma; ó salva-me por causa das tuas misericórdias.
5 Porque na morte não há lembrança de ti; no túmulo quem te dará graças?
6 Estou cansado do meu gemido, toda a noite faço a minha cama nadar; molho o meu leito com as minhas lágrimas.
7 Meu olho está consumido por causa da mágoa; ele envelheceu por causa de todos os meus inimigos.
8 Apartai-vos de mim todos vós trabalhadores da iniquidade; porque o SENHOR ouviu a voz do meu pranto.
9 O SENHOR ouviu a minha súplica; o SENHOR receberá a minha oração.
10 Que todos os meus inimigos sejam envergonhados e dolorosamente perturbados; que eles retornem e sejam envergonhados repentinamente.

2 Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I [am] weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
3 My soul also is exceedingly troubled; but You, O LORD, how long?
4 Return, O LORD, return; deliver my soul; save me for Your mercy's sake.
5 For in death [there is] no memory of You; in the grave who shall give You thanks?
6 I am weary in my groaning; all the night I make my bed swim; I melt my couch with my tears.
7 My eye is dim because of grief; it wastes away because of all my enemies.
8 Depart from me, all workers of iniquity; for the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
9 The LORD has heard my cry; the LORD will receive my prayer.
10 Let all my enemies be ashamed and exceedingly troubled; let them turn back [and] be ashamed in a moment.
