1 Canção gradual. Aqueles que confiam no SENHOR serão como o monte de Sião, que não pode ser abalado, mas permanece para sempre.

2 Como os montes estão ao redor de Jerusalém, assim o SENHOR está ao redor do seu povo daqui em diante e para sempre.

3 Pois a vara dos perversos não descansará sobre a sorte dos justos, para que os justos não estendam as suas mãos para a iniquidade.

4 Faze o bem, ó SENHOR, àqueles que forem bons, e àqueles que são retos em seus corações.

5 Quanto àqueles que se desviam para os seus caminhos tortos, o SENHOR os levará com os trabalhadores da iniquidade, mas a paz estará sobre Israel.

1 A Song of degrees. They who trust in the LORD [shall be] like Mount Zion; it is not shaken, but remains forever.

2 As the mountains [are] all around Jerusalem, so the LORD [is] all around His people from this time and forever.

3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

4 Do good, O LORD, to the good, and to the upright in their hearts.

5 And those who turn aside to their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity; peace [shall be] on Israel.
