1 Os que confiam no Senhor são como o monte Sião,

que não se abala, firme para sempre.

2 Como em redor de Jerusalém estão os montes,

assim o Senhor, em derredor do seu povo,

desde agora e para sempre.

3 O cetro dos ímpios não permanecerá

sobre a sorte dos justos,

para que o justo não estenda

a mão à iniquidade.

4 Faze o bem, Senhor,

aos bons e aos retos de coração.

5 Quanto aos que se desviam para sendas tortuosas,

levá-los-á o Senhor juntamente com os malfeitores.

1 They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but stays for ever.

2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from now on even for ever.

3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

4 Do good, O LORD, to those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

5 As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be on Israel.
