1 Das profundezas clamo a ti, Senhor.
2 Escuta, Senhor, a minha voz;
estejam alertas os teus ouvidos às minhas súplicas.
3 Se observares, Senhor, iniquidades,
quem, Senhor, subsistirá?
4 Contigo, porém, está o perdão,
para que te temam.
5 Aguardo o Senhor, a minha alma o aguarda;
eu espero na sua palavra.
6 A minha alma anseia pelo Senhor
mais do que os guardas pelo romper da manhã.
Mais do que os guardas pelo romper da manhã,
7 espere Israel no Senhor,
pois no Senhor há misericórdia;
nele, copiosa redenção.
8 É ele quem redime a Israel
de todas as suas iniquidades.

1 Out of the depths have I cried to you, O LORD.2 Lord, hear my voice: let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.3 If you, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?4 But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared.5 I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, and in his word do I hope.6 My soul waits for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
