1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burneth. 2 And the nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory, and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of Jehovah shall name. 3 Thou shalt also be a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. 4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah; for Jehovah delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. 5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee; and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that are Jehovah’s remembrancers, take ye no rest, 7 and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. 8 Jehovah hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy grain to be food for thine enemies; and foreigners shall not drink thy new wine, for which thou hast labored: 9 but they that have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Jehovah; and they that have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.

10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up an ensign for the peoples. 11 Behold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. 12 And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah: and thou shalt be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.

1 De dragostea Sionului nu voi tăcea, de dragostea Ierusalimului nu voi înceta, până nu se va arăta mântuirea lui, lumina soarelui și izbăvirea lui, ca o făclie care s-aprinde. 2 Atunci neamurile vor vedea*Cap. 60:3. mântuirea ta și toți împărații, slava ta și-ți*Vers. 4,12. Cap. 65:15. vor pune un nume nou, pe care-l va hotărî gura Domnului. 3 Vei fi o cunună*Zah. 9:16. strălucitoare în mâna Domnului, o legătură împărătească în mâna Dumnezeului tău. 4 Nu*Osea 1:10.1 Pet. 2:10. te vor mai numi „Părăsită"*Cap. 49:14;54:6,7., și nu-ți vor mai numi pământul un pustiu*Cap. 54:1., ci te vor numi „Plăcerea Mea este în ea" și țara ta o vor numi Beula (Măritată), căci Domnul Își pune plăcerea în tine și țara ta se va mărita iarăși. 5 Cum se unește un tânăr cu o fecioară, așa se vor uni fiii tăi cu tine și, cum se bucură mirele de mireasa lui, așa*Cap. 65:19. se va bucura Dumnezeul tău de tine. 6 Pe zidurile tale, Ierusalime, am*Ezec. 3:17;33:7. pus niște străjeri, care nu vor tăcea niciodată, nici zi, nici noapte! Voi, care aduceți aminte Domnului de el, nu vă odihniți deloc! 7 Și nu-I dați răgaz până nu va așeza din nou Ierusalimul și-l va face o*Cap. 61:11.Ţef. 3:20. laudă pe pământ. 8 Domnul a jurat pe dreapta Lui și pe brațul Lui cel puternic, zicând: „Nu voi mai da*Deut. 28:31.Ier. 5:17. grâul tău hrană vrăjmașilor tăi și fiii străinului nu vor mai bea vinul tău, pentru care tu te-ai ostenit. 9 Ci cei ce vor strânge grâul, aceia îl vor mânca și vor lăuda pe Domnul și cei ce vor face vinul, aceia îl vor bea în*Deut. 12:12;14:23,26;16:11,14. curțile Locașului Meu celui Sfânt." 10 Treceți, treceți pe porți! Pregătiți*Cap. 40:3;57:14;11:12. o cale poporului! Croiți, croiți drum, dați pietrele la o parte! Ridicați un steag peste popoare! 11 Iată ce vestește Domnul până la marginile pământului: „Spuneți*Zah. 9:9.Mat. 21:5.Ioan 12:15. fiicei Sionului: ‘Iată*Cap. 40:10.Apoc. 22:12., Mântuitorul tău vine; iată, plata este cu El și răsplătirile merg înaintea Lui.’" 12 Ei vor fi numiți „Popor sfânt, Răscumpărați ai Domnului". Iar pe tine te vor numi „Cetate căutată și nepărăsită"*Vers. 4..
