Salmos 61

To the chief Musician upon Neginah, A Psalm of David.

1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.*61.4 trust: or, make my refuge

5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

6 Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: and his years as many generations.*61.6 Thou…: Heb. Thou shalt add days to the days of the king*61.6 as…: Heb. as generation and generation

7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.

8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

Psaume de prière et d’action de grâces.

1 Psaume de David, donné au maître chantre, pour le chanter sur Néguinoth. 2 Ô Dieu écoute mon cri, sois attentif à ma requête. 3 Je crierai à toi du bout de la terre, lorsque mon coeur se pâme ; conduis-moi sur cette roche, qui est trop haute pour moi. 4 Car tu m’as été pour retraite, et pour une forte tour au-devant de l’ennemi. 5 Je séjournerai dans ton Tabernacle durant un long temps ; je me retirerai sous l’ombre de tes ailes ; Sélah. 6 Car tu as, ô Dieu ! exaucé mes voeux , et tu m’as donné l’héritage de ceux qui craignent ton Nom. 7 Tu ajouteras des jours aux jours du Roi ; et ses années seront comme plusieurs âges. 8 Il demeurera à toujours en la présence de Dieu ; que la gratuité et la vérité le gardent ! Ainsi je psalmodierai ton Nom à perpétuité, en te rendant mes voeux chaque jour.
