O Dio, salvami per il tuo nome, e fammi giustizia per la tua potenza.2 O Dio, ascolta la mia preghiera, porgi orecchio alle parole della mia bocca!3 Poiché degli stranieri si son levati contro a me e de’ violenti cercano l’anima mia. Essi non tengono ddio presente innanzi a loro. Sela.4 Ecco, Iddio e colui che m’aiuta; il Signore è fra quelli che sostengon l’anima mia.5 Egli farà ricadere il male sopra i miei nemici. Nella tua fedeltà, distruggili!6 Con animo volonteroso io t’offrirò sacrifizi; celebrerò il tuo nome, o Eterno, perch’esso è buono;7 perché m’ha liberato da ogni distretta, e l’occhio mio ha visto sui miei nemici quel che desideravo.

Vindicate me in your might.

2 Hear my prayer, God.

Listen to the words of my mouth.

3 For strangers have risen up against me.

Violent men have sought after my soul.

They haven’t set God before them. Selah.

4 Behold, God is my helper.

The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.

5 He will repay the evil to my enemies.

Destroy them in your truth.

6 With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you.

I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good.

7 For he has delivered me out of all trouble.

My eye has seen triumph over my enemies.
