Salmos 128

Cântico de peregrinação.

1 Bem-aventurado todo aquele que teme ao Senhor,

aquele que anda nos seus caminhos!

2 Você comerá do fruto do seu trabalho,

será bem-aventurado e próspero.

3 A sua mulher será como videira frutífera

dentro da sua casa;

os seus filhos serão como brotos de oliveira

ao redor da sua mesa.

4 Assim será abençoado

o homem que teme ao Senhor!

5 Que o Senhor o abençoe desde Sião,

para que você veja a prosperidade de Jerusalém

todos os dias da sua vida.

6 Que você veja os filhos dos seus filhos.

Haja paz em Israel!

A Song of Ascents.

1 Blessed is every one that feareth Jehovah,

That walketh in his ways.

2 For thou shalt eat the labor of thy hands:

Happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine,

In the innermost parts of thy house;

Thy children like olive plants,

Round about thy table.

4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessed

That feareth Jehovah.

5 Jehovah bless thee out of Zion:

And see thou the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6 Yea, see thou thy children’s children.
