Visão das brasas de fogo

1 Olhei, e eis que, no *Ez 1.22,26firmamento que estava por cima da cabeça dos querubins, apareceu sobre eles uma como *Êx 24.10pedra de safira, como a aparência da semelhança de *Ap 4.2-3trono. 2 E falou ao homem *Ez 9.2vestido de linho, dizendo: Entra no meio das *Ez 10.13;Ez 1.15-21rodas giradoras até debaixo do *Ez 10.20;Ez 9.3querubim, e enche ambas as mãos de *Ez 1.13;Sl 18.10-13;Is 6.6;Ap 8.5brasas de fogo, tirando-as dentre os querubins, e espalha-as sobre a cidade. Ele entrou à minha vista. 3 Ora, os querubins estavam de pé ao lado direito da casa, quando entrou o homem; e a nuvem encheu o *Ez 8.3,16átrio interior. 4 A *Ez 9.3;11.22-23glória de Jeová elevou-se de cima do querubim e pôs-se sobre a entrada da casa; *Êx 40.34-35;Is 6.1-4a casa encheu-se da nuvem e ficou cheia *Ez 1.28do resplendor da glória de Jeová. 5 O ruído das asas dos querubins ouvia-se até o átrio exterior, como *Ez 1.24;Jó 40.9;Ap 10.3a voz de Deus Todo-Poderoso, quando fala. 6 Quando Jeová deu ordem *Ez 10.2ao homem vestido de linho, dizendo: Toma fogo do meio das rodas giradoras, dentre os querubins, esse homem entrou e pôs-se de pé junto a uma roda. 7 O querubim estendeu do meio dos querubins a mão para o *Ez 1.13fogo que estava entre os querubins, tomou dele e pô-lo nas mãos daquele que estava vestido de linho, o qual o tomou e saiu. 8 Apareceu nos querubins a forma *Ez 1.8da mão de homem debaixo das suas asas.

Visão das quatro rodas

9 Olhei, e eis *Ez 1.15-17quatro rodas junto aos querubins, uma roda junto a um querubim, e outra roda junto a outro querubim; e a aparência das rodas era como o brilho de *Dn 10.6;Ap 21.20pedra de berilo. 10 Quanto à sua aparência, as quatro tinham uma só semelhança, como se uma *Ez 1.16roda estivesse dentro de outra roda. 11 Quando iam, iam *Ez 1.17pelos seus quatro lados; e não se voltavam quando iam, mas para o lugar para onde olhava a cabeça, para esse a seguiam; *Ez 10.22não se voltavam, quando iam. 12 *Ap 4.6,8Todo o corpo delas, e as suas costas, e as suas mãos, e as suas asas, e as suas *Ez 1.18rodas, as rodas que as quatro tinham, estavam cheias de olhos ao redor. 13 Quanto às rodas, a elas se lhes chamou *Ez 10.2rodas giradoras, ouvindo-o eu. 14 *Ez 10.21;Ez 1.6,10;1Rs 7.29,36;Ap 4.7Cada uma das criaturas viventes tinha quatro rostos: o rosto da primeira era rosto de querubim; o rosto da segunda era rosto de homem, o terceiro rosto era rosto de leão, e o quarto rosto era rosto de águia.

15 Os querubins se elevavam. Esta é *Ez 1.3,5a criatura vivente que vi junto ao rio Quebar. 16 Quando os querubins *Ez 1.19iam, iam as rodas ao lado deles; e, quando os querubins levantavam as suas asas para se elevarem da terra, também as rodas não se separavam do lado deles. 17 Quando aqueles *Ez 1.21paravam, estas paravam; e, quando aqueles se elevavam, estas se elevavam também com eles. Pois o espírito da criatura vivente estava nelas.

A glória divina abandona o templo

18 *Ez 10.4A glória de Jeová saiu de sobre a entrada da casa e pôs-se *Sl 18.10sobre os querubins. 19 Os querubins levantaram as suas asas, e elevaram-se da terra, quando saíram acompanhados pelas rodas ao lado deles; pararam à entrada *Ez 11.1da porta oriental da Casa de Jeová, e a glória do Deus de Israel estava em cima sobre eles.

20 Esta é *Ez 10.15;Ez 1.5,26a criatura vivente que vi debaixo do Deus de Israel, junto ao rio Quebar, e conheci que eram querubins. 21 *Ez 10.14;Ez 1.6,8;41.18-19Cada uma das criaturas viventes tinha de per si quatro rostos e cada uma quatro asas; e a semelhança das mãos de homem estava debaixo das suas asas. 22 Quanto à semelhança dos seus rostos, eram os rostos que vi junto ao rio *Ez 10.15,20;Ez 1.1,3Quebar, as suas aparências, e elas mesmas; *Ez 1.9,12cada um ia para adiante de si.

1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne. 2 And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.*10.2 thine hand: Heb. the hollow of thine hand 3 Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court. 4 Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD’s glory.*10.4 went up: Heb. was lifted up 5 And the sound of the cherubims’ wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh. 6 And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels. 7 And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.*10.7 stretched forth: Heb. sent forth

8 And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man’s hand under their wings. 9 And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone. 10 And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel. 11 When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went. 12 And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.*10.12 body: Heb. flesh 13 As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.*10.13 it was…: or, they were called in my hearing, wheel, or, galgal 14 And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle. 15 And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar. 16 And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them. 17 When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.*10.17 of…: or, of life 18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims. 19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above. 20 This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims. 21 Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings. 22 And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.
