Ezequiel 34

Profecia contra os pastores infiéis de Israel

1 Veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 2 Filho do homem, profetiza contra os *Jr 2.8;3.15;10.21;12.10pastores de Israel, profetiza e dize aos pastores: Ai dos pastores de Israel que se apascentam *Ez 34.8-10;Ez 22.25;Jr 23.1;Mq 3.1-3,11a si mesmos! Não devem os pastores apascentar as *Ez 34.14-15;Sl 78.71-72;Is 40.11;Jo 10.11;21.15-17ovelhas? 3 *Zc 11.5,16Comeis a gordura, e vos vestis de lã, e *Ez 22.25,27matais as cevadas; porém não apascentais as ovelhas. 4 Não fortalecestes *Ez 34.16as adoentadas, nem curastes a que estava enferma, nem *Zc 11.15-16ligastes a que estava quebrada, nem tornastes a trazer a que estava desgarrada, nem *Mt 9.36;10.6;18.12-13;Lc 15.4buscastes a que estava perdida; mas dominastes sobre elas com força e com rigor. 5 Assim, *Jr 10.21;50.6-7se espalharam, por não haver pastor; tornaram-se *Ez 34.8,28;Jr 23.2pasto para todos os animais do campo e espalharam-se. 6 As minhas ovelhas *Ez 7.16;Jr 40.11-12;1Pe 2.25andaram desgarradas por todos os montes e em todo o alto outeiro; *Jo 10.16as minhas ovelhas foram espalhadas por toda a face da terra; *Sl 142.4não havia quem as procurasse ou as buscasse.

7 Portanto, ó pastores, ouvi a palavra de Jeová: 8 Pela minha vida, diz o Senhor Jeová, porquanto as minhas ovelhas *At 20.29foram entregues à rapina e as minhas ovelhas serviram *Ez 34.5de pasto para todos os animais do campo, por não haver pastor, nem os meus pastores procuraram as minhas ovelhas, mas se apascentaram *Ez 34.2a si mesmos e não apascentaram as minhas ovelhas, 9 portanto, ó pastores, ouvi a palavra de Jeová. 10 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que sou *Ez 34.2;Ez 5.8;13.8;Jr 21.13;Zc 10.3contra os pastores; das suas mãos *Ez 33.6,8requererei as minhas ovelhas e farei *1Sm 2.29-30;Jr 52.24-27que cessem de apascentar as minhas ovelhas. Os pastores *Ez 34.2,8não se apascentarão mais a si mesmos; da sua boca *Ez 13.23;Sl 72.12-14livrarei as minhas ovelhas, para que não lhes sirvam de pasto.

11 Pois assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que *Ez 11.17;20.41;Is 51.12eu, eu mesmo, hei de procurar as minhas ovelhas e hei de buscá-las. 12 *Jr 31.10Como o pastor busca o seu rebanho no dia em que se acha no meio das suas ovelhas que estão espalhadas, assim *Is 40.11;56.8;Jr 23.3;31.8;Lc 19.10;Jo 10.16buscarei as minhas ovelhas. Livrá-las-ei de todos os lugares para onde se espalharam *Ez 30.3;Jr 13.16;Jl 2.2no dia nublado e de escuridade. 13 *Ez 28.25;36.24;Is 11.11-16;66.20;Am 9.14Tirá-las-ei para fora dos povos, e as congregarei dos países, e as introduzirei na sua terra; *Ez 34.23;Ez 36.29-30;Mq 7.14apascentá-las-ei sobre *Ez 37.22os montes de Israel, junto *Is 30.25às correntes de água e em todos os lugares habitados do país. 14 *Sl 23.1-2;Jr 31.12-14,25;Jo 10.9De bom pasto as apascentarei, e sobre os *Ez 20.40montes da altura de Israel será o seu curral; ali, se deitarão *Ez 34.26-27num bom curral e, em *Ez 28.25-26;36.20,30pastos gordos, pastarão sobre os montes de Israel. 15 *Ez 34.23;Sl 23.1-2Eu mesmo apascentarei as minhas ovelhas e eu as farei deitar-se, diz o Senhor Jeová. 16 *Ez 34.4Buscarei a que estava perdida, e tornarei a trazer a que estava desgarrada, e ligarei a que estava quebrada, e fortalecerei a que estava enferma; mas destruirei *Is 10.16a gorda e a forte. Apascentá-la-ei com *Is 49.26justiça.

O cuidado de Jeová pelo seu rebanho

17 Quanto a vós, rebanho meu, assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que *Ez 34.20-22;Ez 20.38;Ml 4.1;Mt 25.32julgo entre ovelhas e ovelhas, entre carneiros e bodes. 18 Acaso, parece-vos *Nm 16.9,13;2Sm 7.19;Is 7.13pouca coisa o terdes pastado o bom pasto, senão que haveis de *Mt 23.13;Lc 11.52pisar aos vossos pés o resto do vosso pasto? E o terdes bebido *Ez 32.14as águas claras, senão que haveis de *Ez 32.2sujar o resto com os vossos pés? 19 Quanto às minhas ovelhas, elas pastam o que haveis pisado com os vossos pés e bebem o que haveis sujado com os vossos pés.

20 Portanto, assim lhes diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que eu, eu mesmo, *Ez 34.17julgarei entre as ovelhas gordas e as ovelhas magras. 21 porquanto com o lado e com o ombro, dais empurrões e, com os vossos *Dt 33.17;Dn 8.4;Lc 13.14-16chifres, impelis todas as adoentadas, até as terdes espalhado por toda a parte, 22 portanto *Ez 34.10;Sl 72.12-14;Jr 23.2-3salvarei o meu rebanho, e ele não servirá mais de *Ez 34.5,8presa; e *Ez 34.17julgarei entre ovelhas e ovelhas. 23 Suscitarei sobre elas *Ez 37.24um só pastor, que as *Ez 34.13-15apascentará, meu servo *Ez 34.24Davi. Ele as apascentará e lhes servirá de pastor. 24 *Ez 34.30-31;Ez 36.28;Is 43.3Eu, Jeová, serei o seu Deus, e o meu servo *Ez 37.24-25;Is 55.3-5;Jr 30.9;Os 3.5Davi será príncipe no meio deles.

Jeová e sua aliança de paz

25 Farei com eles uma *Ez 16.60;20.37;37.26aliança de paz e farei cessar da terra *Jó 5.22;Is 11.6-9as feras; *Ez 34.27-28;Ez 28.26;Jr 33.16habitarão seguros no deserto e dormirão nos bosques. 26 Deles e dos lugares ao redor do meu outeiro farei uma *Ez 34.14;Gn 12.2bênção; farei cair *Dt 11.13-15;28.12as chuvas a seu tempo; haverá *Lv 25.21;Is 44.3chuvas de bênção. 27 As árvores do campo darão o seu fruto, e a terra dará a sua novidade, e estarão *Ez 38.8,11seguros na sua terra; saberão que eu sou Jeová, quando eu tiver *Lv 26.13;Is 52.2-3;Jr 30.8quebrado as varas do seu jugo e os tiver livrado das mãos dos que se serviam deles. 28 Não servirão mais *Ez 34.8de presa aos pagãos, nem os devorarão mais *Ez 34.25os animais da terra; mas habitarão *Ez 39.26;Jr 30.10seguros, e não haverá quem os amedronte. 29 Suscitar-lhes-ei um *Is 4.2;60.21;61.3plantio para renome, e nunca serão consumidos pela *Ez 34.26-27;Ez 36.29fome na terra, nem *Ez 36.6,15levarão mais sobre si o opróbrio dos pagãos. 30 Saberão que *Ez 14.11;36.28;Sl 46.7,11eu Jeová, seu Deus, sou com eles, e que eles, casa de Israel, são o meu povo, diz o Senhor Jeová. 31 Vós, *Ez 36.38;Sl 78.52;80.1ovelhas minhas, ovelhas *Sl 100.3;Jr 23.1do meu pasto, sois homens, e eu sou o vosso Deus, diz o Senhor Jeová.

1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? 3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock. 4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. 5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.*34.5 because…: or, without a shepherd 6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; 8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;*34.8 because…: or, without a shepherd 9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; 10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

11 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.*34.12 As…: Heb. According to the seeking 13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. 15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD. 16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

17 And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.*34.17 cattle: Heb. small cattle of lambs and kids*34.17 he goats: Heb. great he goats 18 Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet? 19 And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.

20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle. 21 Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad; 22 Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle. 23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. 24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it. 25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. 26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. 27 And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them. 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid. 29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.*34.29 of renown: or, for renown*34.29 consumed: Heb. taken away 30 Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD. 31 And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.
