Ezequiel 43

A restauração do templo: a glória do Senhor

1 Depois, me levou à *Ez 42.4;Ez 10.19;40.6;42.15;44.1;46.1porta, a saber, à porta que olha para o oriente; 2 eis que vinha do caminho do *Ez 11.23oriente a *Ez 1.28;3.23;10.18-19;Is 6.3glória do Deus de Israel; a sua *Ez 1.24;Ap 1.15;14.2voz era como o ruído de muitas águas, e a terra *Ez 1.28;10.4;Ap 18.1resplandecia com a glória dele. 3 A aparência da *Ez 1.4-28visão era como a aparência da visão que tive, sim, como a visão que tive quando vim a *Ez 9.1,5;32.18;Jr 1.10destruir a cidade; e as visões eram como a visão que tive junto ao *Ez 1.3;10.20rio Quebar; *Ez 1.28;3.23e prostrei-me com o rosto em terra. 4 A glória de Jeová entrou na casa pelo caminho da porta que olha para o *Ez 43.2;Ez 10.19;11.23oriente. 5 O *Ez 3.14;8.3;11.1-24;2Co 12.2-4Espírito levantou-me e introduziu-me no átrio interior; e eis que a *Ez 10.4glória de Jeová enchia a casa.

6 Ouvi um falando comigo de dentro da casa; *Ez 1.26e um homem achava-se de pé junto de mim. 7 E disse-me: Filho do homem, este é o lugar do meu *Ez 1.26;Sl 47.8trono e o lugar das plantas dos meus pés, onde *Ez 37.26,28habitarei para sempre no meio dos filhos de Israel; os da casa de Israel não contaminarão mais o meu santo nome, nem eles, nem os seus reis, pelas suas fornicações e pelos *Ez 6.5,13cadáveres dos seus reis nos seus *Ez 20.29-30altos, 8 pondo o seu limiar ao pé do meu limiar, e as suas ombreiras, ao pé das minhas ombreiras, e havendo só um muro entre mim e eles. *Ez 8.3,16Contaminaram o meu santo nome pelas abominações que têm cometido, pelo que os consumi na minha ira. 9 Agora, *Ez 18.30-31lancem eles para longe de mim as suas fornicações e os cadáveres dos seus reis, e *Ez 43.7;Ez 37.26-28eu habitarei para sempre no meio deles.

A restauração do templo: o altar dos holocaustos

10 Tu, filho do homem, *Ez 40.4mostra a casa aos da casa de Israel, para que *Ez 43.11;Ez 16.61,63se envergonhem das suas iniquidades e meçam o modelo. 11 Se se envergonharem de tudo quanto têm feito, faze-lhes saber a forma da casa, e a sua figura, e as suas *Ez 44.5saídas, e as suas entradas, e todas as suas formas, e todas as suas ordenanças, e todas as suas formas, e todas as suas leis; escreve-as *Ez 12.3à vista deles, para que guardem toda a sua forma e todas as suas ordenanças e *Ez 11.20;36.27as observem. 12 Esta é a lei da casa; sobre o cume do *Ez 40.2;42.20monte, todo o seu termo ao redor será santíssimo. Eis que esta é a lei da casa.

13 Estas são as medidas do *Êx 27.1-8;2Cr 4.1altar aos cúbitos (*Ez 40.5;41.8o cúbito é um cúbito e um palmo); o fundo será dum cúbito, e a largura dum cúbito, e a sua borda junto à sua extremidade ao redor, dum palmo. Esta será a base do altar. 14 Desde o fundo sobre o chão até a *Ez 43.17,20;Ez 45.19seção inferior, será de dois cúbitos, e a largura dum cúbito; e desde a seção menor até a seção maior, será de quatro cúbitos, e a largura dum cúbito. 15 O Harel será de quatro cúbitos; e desde o Ariel e de lá para cima se levantarão quatro *Êx 27.2;Lv 9.9;1Rs 1.50;Sl 118.27chifres. 16 O Ariel terá doze cúbitos de comprimento e doze de largura, *Êx 27.1quadrado nos seus quatro lados. 17 A seção terá quatorze cúbitos de comprimento e quatorze de largura nos seus quatro lados; e a borda ao redor dela será de meio cúbito; o fundo dela será dum cúbito ao redor; e os seus *Êx 20.26degraus *Ez 40.6olharão para o oriente.

A consagração do altar

18 E disse-me: *Ez 2.1Filho do homem, assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Estas são as ordenanças do altar no dia em que o fizerem, para oferecerem sobre ele *Êx 40.29holocaustos e *Lv 1.5,11;Hb 9.21-22para aspergirem sobre ele sangue. 19 Aos sacerdotes levitas que são da linhagem de *Ez 40.46;44.15;1Rs 2.35Zadoque, os quais estão *Nm 16.5,40perto de mim, para me servirem, diz o Senhor Jeová, darás um *Ez 43.23;Ez 45.18-19;Lv 4.3bezerro para uma *Hb 7.27oferta pelo pecado. 20 Tomarás do sangue dele e pô-lo-ás sobre os quatro *Ez 43.15;Lv 8.15;9.9chifres do altar, e sobre os quatro cantos *Ez 43.14,16-17da seção, e sobre a borda em roda; assim, *Ez 43.22,26;Lv 16.19o purificarás e o expiarás. 21 Também tomarás o novilho da oferta pelo pecado, e ele o *Êx 29.14;Lv 4.12;Hb 13.11queimará no lugar da casa para isso designado, fora do santuário. 22 No segundo dia, oferecerás um *Ez 43.25bode sem mancha como uma oferta pelo pecado; *Ez 43.20,26e purificarão o altar, como o purificaram com o novilho. 23 Quando tiveres acabado de o purificar, oferecerás um *Êx 29.1,10;Ez 45.18bezerro sem mancha e um *Êx 29.1carneiro sem mancha do rebanho. 24 Fá-lo-ás chegar perante Jeová, e os sacerdotes deitarão *Lv 2.13;Nm 18.19;Mc 9.49-50;Cl 4.6sal sobre eles e os oferecerão em holocausto a Jeová. 25 Por *Êx 29.35-37;Lv 8.33,35sete dias, prepararás cada dia um bode como uma oferta pelo pecado; também prepararão um bezerro e um carneiro sem mancha do rebanho. 26 Por sete dias, expiarão o altar e o purificarão; assim, o consagrarão. 27 Tendo eles completado os dias, ao *Lv 9.1oitavo dia, e dali em diante, os sacerdotes oferecerão os vossos holocaustos sobre o altar e as vossas *Lv 3.1;17.5ofertas pacíficas; e eu vos *Ez 20.40aceitarei, diz o Senhor Jeová.

1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east: 2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory. 3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.*43.3 when…: or, when I came to prophesy that the city should be destroyed 4 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. 5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house. 6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.

7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places. 8 In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.*43.8 and the…: or, for there was but a wall between me and them 9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.*43.10 pattern: or, sum, or, number 11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them. 12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

13 And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.*43.13 bottom: Heb. bosom*43.13 edge: Heb. lip 14 And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit. 15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.*43.15 the altar shall: Heb. Harel, that is, the mountain of God*43.15 the altar and: Heb. Ariel, that is, the lion of God 16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof. 17 And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.

18 And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon. 19 And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering. 20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it. 21 Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary. 22 And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock. 23 When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish. 24 And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD. 25 Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish. 26 Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.*43.26 consecrate…: Heb. fill their hands 27 And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.*43.27 peace…: or, thank offerings
