Ezequiel 5

1 Tu, filho do homem, toma uma *Ez 44.20;Lv 21.5;Is 7.20espada aguda; como a navalha de barbeiro, a tomarás e a farás passar pela tua cabeça e pela tua barba. Então, tomarás uma *Dn 5.27balança de peso, e repartirás os cabelos. 2 *Ez 5.12Uma terça parte, queimá-la-ás no fogo, no meio da cidade, quando forem cumpridos *Ez 4.2-8;Jr 39.1-2os dias do cerco; tomarás outra terça parte e feri-la-ás com a espada ao redor da cidade; espalharás a outra terça parte ao vento, *Lv 26.33e desembainharei uma espada atrás deles. 3 Tomarás dessa terça parte *2Rs 25.12;Jr 39.10uns poucos e atá-los-ás nas tuas fraldas. 4 Ainda destes tomarás alguns e, lançando-os no meio do fogo, *Jr 42.16-17,22os queimarás; daí, procederá um fogo que entrará em toda a casa de Israel.

Predição da desolação de Jerusalém

5 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Esta é *Ez 4.1;Jr 6.6Jerusalém. *Ez 16.14;Dt 4.6;Lm 1.1No meio das nações, a pus, e ao redor dela estão os países. 6 Ela se rebelou contra os meus juízos, praticando iniquidade *Ez 16.47-48,51;2Rs 17.8-20mais do que as nações e transgredindo os meus estatutos mais do que os países que estão ao redor dela; pois os seus habitantes *Ne 9.16-17;Sl 78.10;Jr 11.10;Zc 7.11rejeitaram os meus estatutos e, quanto aos meus estatutos, neles não andaram. 7 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Porque sois *2Rs 21.9-11;2Cr 33.9;Jr 2.10-11mais turbulentos do que as nações que estão ao redor de vós e não tendes andado nos meus estatutos, nem guardado os meus juízos, nem procedido segundo as ordenanças das *Ez 16.47nações que estão ao redor de vós, 8 por isso, assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que eu, eu sou *Ez 15.7;21.3;Jr 21.5,13;Zc 14.2contra ti; *Ez 5.15;Ez 11.9;Jr 24.9executarei juízos no meio de ti à vista das nações. 9 Farei em ti o que *Dn 9.12;Mt 24.21não tenho feito e coisas às quais nunca mais farei semelhantes, por causa de todas as tuas abominações. 10 Portanto, no meio de ti *Lv 26.29;Jr 19.9os pais comerão a seus filhos, e os filhos comerão a seus pais; executarei em ti juízos e tudo o que restar de ti, *Ez 5.2,12;Ez 6.8;12.14;Sl 44.11;Am 9.9;Zc 2.6;7.14espalhá-lo-ei a todos os ventos. 11 Pela minha vida, diz o Senhor Jeová, certamente, porquanto tens *Ez 8.5-6,16;Jr 7.9-11profanado o meu santuário com todas as *Ez 7.20;Jr 16.18tuas obras detestáveis e com todas as tuas abominações, portanto, eu também *Sl 107.39te diminuirei; *Ez 7.4;8.18não te pouparão os meus olhos, e também não te mostrarei piedade. 12 Uma *Ez 5.2terça parte de ti morrerá de *Ez 5.17;Ez 6.11-12;Jr 15.2;21.9peste e será consumida de fome no meio de ti; outra terça parte cairá pela espada ao redor de ti; e a outra terça parte, *Ez 5.2,10;Am 9.9;Zc 2.6espalhá-la-ei a todos os ventos *Ez 5.2;Ez 12.14;Jr 43.10-11;44.27e desembainharei a espada atrás deles.

13 Assim, se cumprirá a minha ira, e neles *Ez 16.42;21.17;24.13satisfarei o meu furor e serei *Is 1.24consolado; saberão que eu, o Senhor, *Ez 36.5-6;38.19;Is 59.17falei no meu zelo, quando eu tiver cumprido neles o meu furor. 14 Demais, te farei uma *Ez 6.6;12.20;Is 64.10-11;Mq 3.12desolação e *Ez 22.4;Sl 74.3-10;79.1-4objeto de opróbrio entre as nações que estão ao redor de ti, à vista de todos os que passam. 15 Assim, será ele objeto de opróbrio e ludíbrio, *Is 26.9;Jr 22.8-9;1Co 10.11de escarmento e espanto às nações que estão ao redor de ti, quando eu *Ez 5.8;Ez 25.17;Is 66.15-16executar em ti juízos com ira, e furor, e com furiosas increpações. Eu, o Senhor, o disse. 16 Despedirei contra eles as malignas *Dt 32.23-24flechas da fome, flechas destruidoras, que eu enviarei para vos destruir; aumentarei sobre vós a fome, *Ez 4.16;14.13e vos quebrarei o báculo do pão; 17 enviarei sobre vós a *Ez 5.12fome e as feras que te desfilharão; *Ez 28.23a peste e o sangue passarão por ti, e farei vir a espada sobre ti. Eu, Jeová, o disse.

1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair. 2 Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them. 3 Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.*5.3 skirts: Heb. wings 4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

5 Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her. 6 And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them. 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you; 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. 9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. 10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds. 11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

12 A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. 13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them. 14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by. 15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it. 16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread: 17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee.
