Ezequiel 6

Profecia contra os montes de Israel

1 Veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 2 Filho do homem, vira o teu rosto para os *Ez 6.13;Ez 18.6;22.9montes de Israel, e profetiza contra eles, 3 dizendo: Montes de Israel, ouvi a palavra do Senhor Jeová. *Ez 36.4,6Assim diz o Senhor Jeová aos montes e aos outeiros, às ravinas e aos vales: Eis que eu, eu farei vir sobre vós a espada e destruirei *Ez 6.6;Ez 16.16os vossos altos. 4 Os vossos *Ez 6.6;Lv 26.30;2Cr 14.5;Is 27.9altares serão desolados, e as vossas imagens do sol serão quebradas; e arrojarei *Ez 6.5,13;Ez 9.7os vossos mortos diante dos vossos ídolos. 5 Porei os cadáveres dos filhos de Israel diante dos seus ídolos e espalharei os vossos *2Rs 23.14,16,20;Jr 8.1-2ossos ao redor dos vossos altares. 6 Em todos os lugares onde habitardes, serão destruídas *Ez 5.14;Lv 26.31;Is 6.11as cidades e desolados *Ez 6.3;Os 10.8os altos para que os vossos *Ez 6.4;Mq 1.7;Zc 13.2altares sejam destruídos e fiquem desolados, e os vossos ídolos sejam quebrados e deixem de existir, e as vossas imagens do sol sejam cortadas, e as vossas obras sejam extintas. 7 Os *Ez 6.13;Ez 9.7mortos cairão no meio de vós, *Ez 6.10,13-14e sabereis que eu sou Jeová.

8 Contudo, deixarei *Is 6.13;Jr 30.11um resto, visto que tereis alguns que *Ez 7.16;14.22;Jr 44.14,28escaparão da espada entre as nações, quando fordes espalhados pelos países. 9 Os que dentre vós escaparem *Dt 4.29;30.2;Jr 51.50se lembrarão de mim entre as nações para onde forem levados cativos, quando eu tiver quebrado o seu *Sl 78.40;Is 7.13;43.24;Os 11.8coração fornicário, que se desvia de mim, e os seus *Ez 20.7,24;23.14-16olhos, que se prostituem indo após os seus ídolos. *Ez 20.43;36.31;Jó 42.6Eles terão nojo de si mesmos por causa dos males que têm praticado em todas as suas abominações. 10 Saberão que eu sou Jeová; *Ez 6.7;Jr 5.12-14não disse debalde que lhes havia de fazer este mal.

11 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Por causa de todas as péssimas abominações da casa de Israel, *Ez 21.14,17;22.13bate com as mãos, *Ez 25.6pateia com os pés e dize: *Ez 9.4Ah! Pois eles hão de perecer pela *Ez 5.12;7.15espada, pela fome e pela peste. 12 Aquele que está longe morrerá de peste; aquele que *Dn 9.7está perto cairá pela espada; e aquele que fica e é sitiado morrerá de fome. Assim, *Ez 5.13;Lm 4.11,22cumprirei neles o meu furor. 13 Sabereis que eu sou Jeová, *Ez 6.4-7quando os seus mortos estiverem estendidos no meio dos seus ídolos à roda dos seus altares, em *Ez 20.28;1Rs 14.23;2Rs 16.4;Is 57.5-7;Os 4.13todos os outeiros elevados, em todos os cumes dos montes, debaixo de todas as árvores verdes e debaixo de todos os terebintos frondosos, lugares onde ofereciam sacrifícios de suave cheiro a todos os seus ídolos. 14 *Ez 14.13;20.33-34;Is 5.25;9.12Estenderei sobre eles a minha mão, e farei a terra desolada e erma, desde o deserto até Dibla, em todas as suas habitações; e saberão que eu sou Jeová.

1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them, 3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places. 4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.*6.4 images: or, sun images 5 And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.*6.5 lay: Heb. give 6 In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.*6.6 images: or, sun images 7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries. 9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations. 10 And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

11 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence. 12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them. 13 Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols. 14 So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.*6.14 more…: or, desolate from the wilderness
