Ezequiel 26

Profecia contra Tiro

1 *Ez 24.1No undécimo ano, ao primeiro dia do mês, veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 2 Filho do homem, porquanto *2Sm 5.11;Is 23.1;Jr 25.22Tiro disse de Jerusalém: *Ez 25.3;36.2Ah! Já está quebrada aquela que era *Is 62.10a porta dos povos; já *Ez 25.8;35.10se virou para mim; eu me encherei, agora que ela está assolada, 3 portanto assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que sou contra ti, ó Tiro, e farei subir contra ti *Mq 4.11muitas nações, como *Is 5.30;Jr 50.42;51.42o mar faz subir as suas ondas. 4 Elas destruirão *Ez 26.9;Is 23.11;Am 1.10os muros de Tiro e deitarão abaixo as suas torres; também dela rasparei o seu pó e a farei uma *Ez 26.14rocha escalvada. 5 Ela virá a ser no meio do mar um *Ez 26.14;Ez 47.10enxugadouro de redes, porque eu o falei, diz o Senhor Jeová; e servirá de *Ez 25.7;29.19despojo para as nações. 6 Suas *Ez 26.8;Ez 16.46,53;Jr 47.4;49.2filhas que estão no campo serão mortas à espada; e saberão que eu sou Jeová.

7 Pois assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que da banda do Norte trarei contra Tiro a *Jr 27.3-6Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, *Ed 7.12;Is 10.8;Jr 52.32;Dn 2.37,47o rei dos reis, com cavalos, e *Ez 23.24;Na 2.3-4com carros, e com cavaleiros, e uma companhia, e muito povo. 8 Ele matará com a espada *Ez 26.6tuas filhas no campo. Construirá *Ez 21.22;Jr 52.4fortes contra ti, levantará contra ti um *Jr 6.6;32.24terrapleno e alçará o pavês contra ti. 9 Disporá os *Ez 21.22seus aríetes contra os teus muros e, com os seus machados, derrubará as tuas torres. 10 Por causa da multidão dos seus *Jr 4.13;47.3cavalos, te cobrirá o seu pó; ao estrondo dos cavaleiros, das carroças e dos carros, *Ez 26.15;Ez 27.28tremerão os teus muros, quando ele *Jr 39.3entrar pelas tuas portas como quem entra numa cidade em que está feita uma brecha. 11 Com as patas dos seus *Is 5.28;Hc 1.8cavalos, pisará todas as tuas ruas; matará com a espada ao teu povo, e *Is 26.5;Jr 43.13cairão por terra as colunas da tua fortaleza. 12 *Ez 26.5Despojarão as tuas riquezas e saquearão as tuas *Ez 27.3-27;Is 23.8,18;Zc 9.3mercadorias; *Jr 52.14deitarão abaixo os teus muros, e destruirão as tuas *2Cr 32.27;Am 5.11casas agradáveis, e lançarão *Ez 27.27,32,34;28.8no meio das águas as tuas pedras, as tuas madeiras e o teu pó. 13 Farei cessar o arruído das *Is 23.16;24.8-9;Am 6.5tuas cantigas; e o som das tuas *Is 5.12harpas não se ouvirá mais. 14 Far-te-ei uma *Ez 26.4-5rocha escalvada; virás a ser um enxugadouro de redes; *Dt 13.16;Jó 12.14;Ml 1.4não tornarás a ser edificada. Pois *Is 14.27eu Jeová o falei, diz o Senhor Jeová.

15 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová a Tiro: *Ez 31.16;Jr 49.21Acaso, não tremerão *Ez 26.15;Ez 27.35as ilhas ao estrondo da tua queda, quando gemerem os feridos, quando se fizer a matança no meio de ti? 16 Então, todos os *Ez 27.35;28.19príncipes do mar *Jn 3.6descerão dos seus tronos, e porão de lado os seus mantos, e despirão os seus vestidos bordados; de tremores *Ez 7.27;Jó 8.22;Sl 35.26;1Pe 3.4;5.5se vestirão, sobre a terra se assentarão, *Ez 32.10;Os 11.10estremecerão a cada momento e de ti se espantarão. 17 Farão *Ez 19.1,14;27.2-32;32.2,16uma lamentação sobre ti e te dirão: *Is 14.12;Jr 48.39;50.23Como pereceste, tu que foste povoada de navegantes, ó cidade afamada, que foste *Ez 27.3,10-11;28.2forte no mar, tu e teus habitantes, que fizestes cair o teu terror sobre todos os que te frequentam. 18 Agora, tremerão *Ez 26.15;Ez 27.35;Is 41.5as ilhas no dia da tua queda, sim, as ilhas que estão no mar se espantarão da *Is 23.5-7,10-11,15tua saída. 19 Pois assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Quando eu te *Ez 26.3;Is 8.7-8fizer uma cidade desolada, como as cidades que não são habitadas; quando eu fizer subir sobre ti o abismo, e as grandes águas te cobrirem, 20 então, te precipitarei juntamente com os que *Ez 32.30;Is 14.9-10descem à cova, para ires ter com o povo antigo, e te farei habitar *Sl 88.6;Am 9.2;Jn 2.2,6nas partes mais baixas da terra, nos lugares que são desolados de há muito, juntamente com os que descem à cova, para que não sejas habitada; e estabelecerei a *Jr 33.9;Zc 2.8glória na terra dos viventes. 21 Far-te-ei um *Ez 26.15-16;Ez 27.36terror, e tu não serás mais; embora sejas procurada, contudo, *Ez 26.14;Jr 51.64nunca serás achada, diz o Senhor Jeová.

1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste: 3 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up. 4 And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock. 5 It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall become a spoil to the nations. 6 And her daughters which are in the field shall be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

7 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people. 8 He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee.*26.8 cast…: or, pour out the engine of shot 9 And he shall set engines of war against thy walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy towers. 10 By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.*26.10 as men…: Heb. according to the enterings of a city broken up 11 With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground. 12 And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water.*26.12 thy pleasant…: Heb. houses of thy desire 13 And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard. 14 And I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

15 Thus saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee? 16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee.*26.16 trembling: Heb. tremblings 17 And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!*26.17 of…: Heb. of the seas 18 Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure. 19 For thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee; 20 When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living; 21 I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord GOD.*26.21 a terror: Heb. terrors
