Ezequiel 35

Profecia contra o monte de Seir

1 Demais, veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 2 Filho do homem, *Ez 21.2;25.2vira o teu rosto contra o *Ez 25.12;36.5;Gn 36.8monte de Seir, e profetiza contra ele, 3 e dize-lhe: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que eu sou *Ez 21.3;29.3,10contra ti, ó monte de Seir, e *Ez 25.13;Jr 6.12;15.6estenderei contra ti a minha mão, e te tornarei em *Ez 35.7;Jr 49.13,17-18desolação e em espanto. 4 *Ez 35.9;Ez 6.6;Ml 1.3-4Farei desertas as tuas cidades, e tu serás desolado; e saberás que eu sou Jeová. 5 Porque tiveste perpétua *Ez 25.12,15;36.5;Sl 137.7;Am 1.11;Ob 10inimizade e entregaste os filhos de Israel ao poder da espada, no tempo da sua calamidade, no tempo da *Ez 7.2;21.25,29iniquidade final; 6 portanto, pela minha vida, diz o Senhor Jeová, te prepararei para *Ez 16.38;32.6;Is 63.2-6sangue, e o sangue te perseguirá. Visto que não aborreceste o sangue, por isso o sangue te perseguirá. 7 Assim, tornarei o monte de Seir em *Ez 35.3;Ez 33.28espanto e em desolação; e dele *Ez 25.13;29.11exterminarei o que por ele passar e o que por ele tornar. 8 *Ez 31.12;32.4-5;39.4-5;Is 34.5-6Encherei dos seus mortos os seus montes; nos teus outeiros, nos teus vales e em todas as tuas correntes de água, cairão os que são mortos à espada. 9 Em perpétuas *Ez 25.13;Jr 49.13desolações, te porei, e não serão habitadas as tuas cidades; e saberão que eu sou Jeová.

10 Porquanto *Ez 36.2,5;Sl 83.4-12disseste: Estas duas nações e estes dois países serão meus, e havemos de possuí-los, sendo que *Ez 48.35;Sl 48.1-3;132.13-14;Is 12.6;Sf 3.15Jeová se achava ali, 11 portanto, pela minha vida, diz o Senhor Jeová, procederei *Ez 25.14;Sl 137.7;Am 1.11de acordo com a tua ira, e de acordo com o teu ciúme, que, movido do teu ódio, mostraste contra eles; *Sl 9.16;73.17-18e me darei a conhecer entre eles, quando eu te julgar. 12 Saberás que eu, Jeová, ouvi todas as tuas blasfêmias que tens proferido contra os montes de Israel, dizendo: Eles estão assolados, a nós nos *Ez 36.2;Jr 50.7são entregues para os devorarmos. 13 Vós *Is 10.13-14;36.20;Jr 48.26,42;Dn 11.36vos engrandecestes contra mim com a vossa boca *Ez 36.3e multiplicastes as vossas palavras contra mim. *Jr 7.11;29.23Eu o ouvi. 14 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Quando a terra toda *Is 44.23;49.13;Jr 51.48se regozijar, eu te tornarei desolado. 15 Como tu *Jr 50.11;Lm 4.21te regozijaste sobre a herança da casa de Israel, porque ficou desolada, *Ob 12,15assim eu te farei a ti. Tu serás *Ez 35.3-4;Is 34.5-6desolado, ó monte de Seir, e todo o Edom, sim, todo ele; e saberão que eu sou Jeová.

1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it, 3 And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.*35.3 most…: Heb. desolation and desolation 4 I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD. 5 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:*35.5 perpetual…: or, hatred of old*35.5 shed…: Heb. poured out the children*35.5 force: Heb. hands 6 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee. 7 Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.*35.7 most…: Heb. desolation and desolation 8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword. 9 I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

10 Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:*35.10 whereas…: or, though the LORD was there 11 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee. 12 And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.*35.12 to consume: Heb. to devour 13 Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.*35.13 boasted: Heb. magnified 14 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate. 15 As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
