Ezequiel 13

1 Veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 2 Filho do homem, profetiza contra os *Ez 22.25,28;Is 9.15;Jr 37.19profetas de Israel que profetizam *Ez 13.17;Jr 14.14;23.16,26do seu coração: *Is 1.10;Am 7.16Ouvi a palavra de Jeová. 3 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: *Lm 2.14;Os 9.7;Zc 11.15Ai dos profetas insensatos, que seguem o seu próprio espírito *Jr 23.28-32e não viram nada! 4 Os teus profetas, ó Israel, têm sido como raposas nos lugares desertos. 5 *Ez 22.30;Sl 106.23;Jr 23.22Não subistes às *Is 58.12brechas, nem fizestes uma cerca em defesa da casa de Israel, para estardes firmes na batalha no *Ez 7.19;Is 13.6,9dia de Jeová. 6 Viram vaidade e *Ez 22.28;Jr 29.8adivinhação mentirosa os que dizem: Jeová diz, quando Jeová os não enviou. *Jr 28.15;37.19Fizeram que os homens esperassem fosse cumprida a palavra. 7 *Ez 22.28Acaso, não tivestes visão de vaidade e não falastes adivinhação mentirosa, porquanto dizeis: Jeová diz, sendo que eu não falei?

8 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Porque tendes falado *Ez 21.29vaidade e visto mentiras, por isso, eis que eu sou *Ez 5.8;21.3;Na 2.13contra vós, diz o Senhor Jeová. 9 A minha mão será contra *Jr 20.3-6;28.15-17os profetas que veem vaidade e que adivinham mentiras; não estarão no concílio do meu povo, *Sl 69.28;87.6;Jr 17.13;Dn 12.1nem serão escritos nos registros da casa de Israel, *Ez 20.38nem entrarão na terra de Israel. Sabereis que eu sou o Senhor Jeová. 10 Porquanto, sim, porquanto *Jr 23.32;50.6seduziram o meu povo, dizendo: *Jr 8.11;14.13Paz, *Ez 13.16;Ez 7.25e não há paz, e quando se edifica uma parede, eis que eles *Ez 22.28a rebocam de argamassa magra, 11 dize aos que a rebocam de argamassa magra *Ez 13.14que cairá. Haverá uma *Ez 38.22chuva de inundação; vós, ó grandes pedras de saraiva, caireis, e *Ez 13.13;Ez 1.4;Sl 11.6;18.13-14;Is 28.2;Na 1.3,7,8um vento tempestuoso a fenderá. 12 Eis que quando tiver caído a parede, não se vos dirá: Onde está o reboco com que a rebocastes? 13 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Fendê-la-ei no meu furor com *Ez 13.11um vento impetuoso; e, na minha ira, haverá uma chuva de inundação e grandes *Êx 9.24-25;Sl 18.12-13;Is 30.30;Ap 11.19;16.21pedras de saraiva com furor, para a consumir. 14 Assim, demolirei a parede que rebocastes de argamassa magra e darei com ela por terra, de sorte que seja descoberto *Mq 1.6;Hc 3.13o seu fundamento. Ela cairá, e vós sereis *Jr 6.15;14.15consumidos no meio dela; *Ez 13.9e sabereis que eu sou Jeová. 15 Assim, cumprirei o meu furor contra a parede e contra os que a rebocaram de argamassa magra e vos direi: Já não há parede, nem existem os que a rebocaram, 16 a saber, os profetas de Israel que profetizam acerca de Jerusalém e para ela *Ez 13.10;Jr 6.14;8.11têm visões de paz, *Is 57.21quando não há paz, diz o Senhor Jeová.

Ai das falsas profetizas

17 Tu, filho do homem, volta o teu rosto contra as filhas do teu povo *Jz 4.4;2Rs 22.14;Lc 2.36;At 21.9que profetizam *Ez 13.2;Ap 2.20do seu coração; e profetiza contra elas, 18 dizendo: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Ai das mulheres que cosem almofadas para todos os cotovelos e fazem lenços para as cabeças de pessoas de toda estatura, a fim de caçarem *Ez 22.25almas! Acaso, caçareis as almas do meu povo, e conservareis em vida almas para vosso proveito? 19 *Ez 20.39;22.26Profanastes-me entre o meu povo por *1Sm 2.16-17;Pv 28.21;Mq 3.5,11;Rm 16.18;1Pe 5.2punhados de cevada e por pedaços de pão, para *Ez 13.22fazerdes morrer as almas que não devem morrer e para *Jr 23.14,17conservardes em vida as almas que não devem viver, mentindo ao meu povo, que escuta mentiras.

20 Pelo que assim diz o Senhor Deus: Eis que eu sou *Ez 13.17contra as vossas almofadas com as quais vós ali caçais as almas como a pássaros e as arrancarei dos vossos braços; soltarei as almas, sim, as almas que vós caçais como pássaros. 21 Também rasgarei os vossos lenços e *Sl 91.3;124.7livrarei das vossas mãos o meu povo, e não ficarão mais nas vossas mãos para serem caçados. Sabereis que eu sou Jeová. 22 Pois com mentiras *Am 5.12fizestes entristecer o coração do justo, a quem eu não entristeci; *Jr 23.14;34.16,22e fortalecestes as mãos do ímpio, para que *Ez 18.21,27,30-32;33.14-16não volte do seu mau caminho e seja conservado em vida. 23 Por isso, não tornareis mais a ver *Ez 13.6;Ez 12.24;Mq 3.6;Zc 13.3a vaidade, nem adivinhar adivinhações; *Ez 13.21;Ez 34.10livrarei das vossas mãos o meu povo, *Ez 13.9,21e sabereis que eu sou Jeová.

1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;*13.2 that prophesy out…: Heb. that are prophets out of their own hearts 3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!*13.3 follow: Heb. walk after*13.3 and…: or, and things which they have not seen 4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. 5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.*13.5 gaps: or, breaches*13.5 made…: Heb. hedged the hedge 6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. 7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken? 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD. 9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.*13.9 assembly: or, secret, or, counsel

10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:*13.10 a wall: or, a slight wall 11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. 12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it? 13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it. 14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it; 16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them, 18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?*13.18 armholes: or, elbows 19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? 20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.*13.20 to make…: or, into gardens 21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:*13.22 by…: or, that I should save his life: Heb. by quickening him 23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
