Profecia contra o rei de Tiro

1 De novo, veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 2 Filho do homem, dize ao príncipe de Tiro: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Porquanto o teu coração se elevou, e disseste: *Ez 28.9;Is 14.13-14;47.8;2Ts 2.4Eu sou um deus, na cadeira de Deus me assento, *Ez 27.25-27no meio dos mares; todavia, tu és *Ez 28.9;Sl 9.20;82.6-7;Is 31.3homem e não Deus, embora *Ez 28.6pusesses o teu coração como o coração de Deus, 3 eis que tu és *Ez 28.12mais sábio que *Dn 1.20;2.20-23,28;5.11-12Daniel; não há segredo que se possa esconder de ti: 4 pela tua sabedoria e pelo teu entendimento, adquiriste para ti *Ez 27.33;Zc 9.2-3riquezas e puseste ouro e prata nos teus tesouros; 5 pela tua grande sabedoria e pelo teu *Ez 27.12, etc.;Os 12.7-8tráfico, aumentaste as tuas riquezas, e o teu *Ez 28.2;Jó 31.24-25;Sl 52.7;Os 13.6coração acha-se exaltado por causa das tuas riquezas. 6 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Porquanto *Ez 28.2;Êx 9.17puseste o teu coração como o coração de Deus, 7 eis que trarei sobre ti *Ez 26.7estrangeiros, *Ez 30.11;31.12;32.12;Hc 1.6-8os terríveis dentre as nações; eles desembainharão as suas espadas contra a *Ez 28.17formosura da tua sabedoria e mancharão o teu resplendor. 8 Far-te-ão *Ez 32.30descer à cova, e *Ez 27.26-27,34morrerás da morte dos que são mortos no coração dos mares. 9 Diante daquele que te matar, porventura, ainda dirás: *Ez 28.2Eu sou Deus? Porém tu és homem e não Deus, na mão do que te mata. 10 Pela mão dos estrangeiros, morrerás da morte dos *Ez 31.18;32.30;1Sm 17.26,36incircuncisos, porque eu o falei, diz o Senhor Jeová.

Lamentação sobre o rei de Tiro

11 Demais, veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 12 Filho do homem, *Ez 19.1;26.17;27.2faze uma lamentação sobre o rei de Tiro e dize-lhe: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Tu eras o selo da simetria e *Ez 28.3a perfeição da sabedoria e da *Ez 27.3formosura. 13 Estiveste no *Ez 31.8-9,16;36.35;Gn 2.8;Is 51.3Éden, jardim de Deus; cobrias-te de *Ez 27.16,22todas as pedras preciosas: o *Êx 28.17-20sárdio, o topázio, o diamante, o berilo, o ônix, o jaspe, a safira, a esmeralda, o carbúnculo e o ouro. Em ti se faziam os teus *Is 24.8;30.32tambores e os teus pífaros; no dia em que foste criado foram preparados. 14 Tu eras o *Ez 28.16;Êx 25.17-20;30.26;40.9querubim ungido que cobre, *Is 10.6,15;Ez 37.26-27e estabeleci-te, de sorte que estivesses sobre *Ez 28.16;Ez 20.40o monte santo de Deus; andaste no meio das *Ez 28.13,16;Ap 18.16pedras de fogo. 15 Tu eras *Ez 28.3-6,12;Ez 27.3-4perfeito nos teus caminhos desde o dia em que foste criado até que a *Ez 28.17-18;Is 14.12iniquidade se achou em ti. 16 Pela *Ez 26.17;27.12, etc.abundância do teu tráfico, *Ez 8.17;Hc 2.8,17encheram de violência o teu interior, e pecaste; portanto *Gn 3.24te lancei, profanado, do *Ez 28.14monte de Deus, e te exterminei, *Ez 28.14ó querubim cobridor, do meio das pedras de fogo. 17 Elevou-se o teu *Ez 28.2,5;Ez 31.10coração por causa da tua *Ez 28.7;Ez 27.3-4formosura, *Is 19.11corrompeste a tua sabedoria por causa do teu resplendor; lancei-te por terra, diante dos *Ez 26.16reis te pus, para que te contemplem. 18 Pela multidão das tuas *Ez 28.16iniquidades, na injustiça do teu tráfico, tens profanado os meus santuários; portanto, fiz sair do meio de ti *Am 1.9-10fogo, que te devorou, e te reduzi a *Ml 4.3cinzas sobre a terra, à vista de todos os que te contemplam. 19 Todos os que te conhecerem entre os povos ficarão *Ez 26.16;27.35espantados de ti; tu te tornas *Ez 26.21;27.36em pavor *Jr 51.64e tu não subsistirás mais.

Profecia contra Sidom

20 Veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 21 Filho do homem, *Ez 6.2;25.2vira o teu rosto *Ez 27.8;Gn 10.15,19;Is 23.2,4para Sidom, e profetiza contra ela, 22 e dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que sou *Ez 26.3contra ti, Sidom, e serei *Ez 39.13glorificado no meio de ti. Saberão que eu sou Jeová, quando nela eu tiver *Ez 28.26;Ez 30.19executado juízos e nela for *Ez 38.16santificado. 23 Pois lhe enviarei *Ez 5.17peste e sangue nas suas ruas; *Jr 51.52os feridos cairão no meio dela, estando a espada sobre ela por todos os lados; *Ez 28.24,26e saberão que eu sou Jeová. 24 Para a casa de Israel não haverá *Ez 2.6;Nm 33.55;Js 23.13;Is 55.13espinho que pique, nem abrolho que cause dor, entre os que se acham ao redor deles e os tratam *Ez 25.6;36.5com despeito; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor Jeová.

25 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Quando eu *Ez 20.41;34.13,27;Sl 106.47;Is 11.12-13;Jr 32.37tiver ajuntado a casa de Israel, tirando-os dentre os povos entre os quais se acham espalhados e *Ez 28.22;Ez 36.23for santificado neles à vista das nações, *Jr 23.8;27.11habitarão na sua terra que eu *Ez 37.25dei ao meu servo Jacó. 26 Nela, *Ez 34.25-28;38.8;Jr 23.6habitarão seguros, *Jr 32.15,43-44;Am 9.13-14plantarão vinhas e habitarão seguros, quando eu *Ez 28.22;Ez 25.11tiver executado juízos sobre todos os que os tratarem *Ez 28.24com despeito ao redor deles; e saberão que eu sou Jeová, seu Deus.

1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:*28.2 midst: Heb. heart 3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: 4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: 5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:*28.5 thy great…: Heb. the greatness of thy wisdom 6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; 7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. 8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. 9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.*28.9 of him that slayeth: or, of him that woundeth 10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.*28.13 sardius: or, ruby*28.13 beryl: or, chrysolite*28.13 emerald: or, chrysoprase 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. 19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.*28.19 a terror: Heb. terrors

20 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 21 Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it, 22 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her. 23 For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

24 And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD. 25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. 26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.*28.26 safely: or, with confidence*28.26 despise: or, spoil
