Ezequiel 30

O Egito será conquistado por Babilônia

1 De novo, veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 2 *Ez 21.12;Is 13.6;15.2;Jl 1.5,11,13Filho do homem, profetiza e dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Dai uivos: Ai do dia! 3 Pois está perto *Ez 7.2-7,12o dia, sim, está perto *Ez 7.19;13.5;Jl 1.15;2.1;Ob 15o Dia de Jeová, dia de *Ez 30.18;Ez 32.7;34.12nuvens; será o tempo dos pagãos. 4 *Ez 30.11A espada virá sobre o Egito, e na *Ez 30.5,9;Ez 29.10Etiópia haverá angústia, quando os mortos caírem no Egito; *Ez 29.19o seu povo será levado para o cativeiro e serão destruídos os seus fundamentos. 5 A Etiópia, e *Ez 27.10Pute, e Lude, e todo *Jr 25.20,24o povo misto, e os filhos da terra da aliança cairão juntamente com eles à espada.

6 Assim diz Jeová: Também cairão os que sustêm o *Is 20.3-6Egito, e descerá a soberba do seu poder; *Ez 29.10desde Migdol até Sevene, cairão nela à espada, diz o Senhor Jeová. 7 Ficarão desolados *Ez 29.12;Jr 25.18-26no meio dos países desolados, e as suas cidades estarão no meio das cidades assoladas. 8 *Ez 29.6,9,16;Sl 58.11Saberão que eu sou Jeová, quando eu tiver posto *Ez 30.14,16;Ez 22.31;Am 1.4,7,10,12,14fogo no Egito e forem destruídos todos *Ez 30.5-6os que lhe davam auxílio. 9 Naquele dia, sairão de diante de mim *Is 18.1-2mensageiros em navios para amedrontarem os *Ez 30.4etíopes *Ez 38.11;39.6;Is 47.8descuidados; e sobre eles haverá *Ez 32.9-10;Is 19.17;23.5angústia como no dia do Egito. Pois eis que vem.

10 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Também farei cessar a multidão do Egito pela mão de *Ez 30.24-25;Ez 29.19Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia. 11 Ele com o seu povo, *Ez 28.7;31.12os terríveis dentre as nações, serão introduzidos para destruírem a terra; desembainharão as suas *Ez 30.4espadas contra o Egito e encherão de mortos a terra. 12 Secarei *Ez 29.3,9os rios e venderei a terra nas mãos de homens péssimos; pela mão de estrangeiros, farei desolada a terra e bem assim tudo o que nela houver; eu, Jeová, o falei.

13 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Também *Is 2.18destruirei os ídolos e farei cessar de *Ez 30.16;Is 19.13;Jr 2.16;44.1;46.14Nofe as imagens; nunca mais procederá um príncipe da terra do Egito, e porei o pavor na terra do Egito. 14 Farei desolada a *Ez 29.14;Is 11.11;Jr 44.1,15Patros, porei fogo a *Sl 78.12,43;Is 19.11,13Zoã e executarei juízos em *Ez 30.15-16;Jr 46.25;Na 3.8Nô. 15 Derramarei o meu furor *Ez 30.16sobre Sim, fortaleza do Egito, e exterminarei a multidão de Nô. 16 Meterei fogo no Egito; *Ez 30.15Sim terá grande angústia, *Ez 30.14-15Nô será destruída, e *Ez 30.13Nofe terá adversários em pleno dia. 17 Os mancebos de *Gn 41.45;46.20Áven e de Pi-Besete cairão à espada; e essas cidades irão ao cativeiro. 18 Em *Jr 43.8-13Tafnes, também *Ez 30.3se retirará o dia, quando eu *Ez 34.27;Lv 26.13;Is 10.27;Jr 27.2;28.10,13;30.8quebrar ali os jugos do Egito e nela cessar a soberba do seu poder. Quanto a ela, *Ez 30.3uma nuvem a cobrirá, e suas filhas irão ao cativeiro. 19 Assim, *Ez 30.14;Ez 5.8,15;25.11;Sl 9.16executarei juízos no Egito, *Ez 30.25-26e saberão que eu sou Jeová.

20 No *Ez 26.1;29.1,17;31.1undécimo ano, no primeiro mês, aos sete dias do mês, veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 21 Filho do homem, *Ez 30.24;Sl 10.15;37.17quebrei o braço de Faraó, rei do Egito, e eis que não foi *Jr 30.13;46.11atado para se lhe aplicar remédios curativos, para se lhe pôr uma ligadura que o ate, a fim de que seja forte para pegar na espada. 22 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que sou *Ez 29.3;Jr 46.25contra Faraó, rei do Egito e *Ez 30.21,25quebrarei os seus braços, assim o forte como o que já foi *2Rs 24.7;Jr 37.7quebrado; *Jr 46.21farei cair da sua mão a espada. 23 *Ez 30.17-18,26;Ez 29.12Espalharei os egípcios entre as nações e dispersá-los-ei pelos países. 24 *Ez 30.10,25;Ne 6.9;Is 45.1,5;Zc 10.12Fortificarei os braços do rei de Babilônia e por-lhe-ei na mão *Ez 30.11,25;Is 10.5-6,15;Sf 2.12a minha espada; *Ez 30.21quebrarei, porém, os braços de Faraó, e diante daquele *Ez 26.15;Jr 51.52gemerá com os gemidos dum *Ez 21.14,25homem mortalmente ferido. 25 *Ez 30.10,24Fortificarei os braços do rei de Babilônia, *Ez 30.22e os braços de Faraó cairão; saberão que eu sou Jeová, quando eu meter *Ez 30.11,24a minha espada na mão do rei de Babilônia, e ele *Js 8.18;1Cr 21.16;Is 5.25a estender sobre a terra do Egito. 26 *Ez 30.23Espalharei os egípcios entre as nações e dispersá-los-ei pelos países; e saberão que eu sou Jeová.

1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day! 3 For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen. 4 And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.*30.4 pain: or, fear 5 Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.*30.5 Libya: Heb. Phut*30.5 men: Heb. children 6 Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.*30.6 from…: or, from Migdol to Syene 7 And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted. 8 And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.*30.8 destroyed: Heb. broken 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. 10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon. 11 He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain. 12 And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken it.*30.12 dry: Heb. drought*30.12 all…: Heb. the fulness thereof 13 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt. 14 And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.*30.14 Zoan: or, Tanis 15 And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.*30.15 Sin: or, Pelusium 16 And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily. 17 The young men of Aven and of Pi-beseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.*30.17 Aven: or, Heliopolis*30.17 Pi-beseth: or, Pubastum 18 At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.*30.18 darkened: or, restrained 19 Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

20 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 21 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword. 22 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand. 23 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. 24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh’s arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man. 25 But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt. 26 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
