1 Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, but to Your name give glory, because of Your mercy, because of Your truth.

2 Why should the nations say, Where now is their God?

3 But our God is in Heaven; He has done whatever He pleased.

4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

5 They have mouths, but they do not speak; eyes they have, but they do not see;

6 they have ears, but they do not hear; noses they have, but they do not smell;

7 they have hands, but they do not handle; feet they have, but they do not walk; nor do they utter through their throat.

8 Those who make them are like them; so is everyone who trusts in them.

9 O Israel, trust in Jehovah; He is their help and their shield.

10 O house of Aaron, trust in Jehovah; He is their help and their shield.

11 You who fear Jehovah, trust in Jehovah; He is their help and their shield.

12 Jehovah has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.

13 He will bless those who fear Jehovah, both small and great.

14 Jehovah shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15 You are blessed by Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.

16 Heaven, even the heavens, are Jehovah’s; but the earth He has given to the sons of men.

17 The dead do not praise YAH, nor any who go down into silence.

18 But we will bless YAH from this time forth and forevermore. Praise YAH!

1 Não a nós, Senhor, nenhuma glória para nós, mas sim ao teu nome, por teu amor e por tua fidelidade!

2 Por que perguntam as nações: "Onde está o Deus deles? "

3 O nosso Deus está nos céus, e pode fazer tudo o que lhe agrada.

4 Os ídolos deles, de prata e ouro, são feitos por mãos humanas.

5 Têm boca, mas não podem falar, olhos, mas não podem ver;

6 têm ouvidos, mas não podem ouvir, nariz, mas não podem sentir cheiro;

7 têm mãos, mas nada podem apalpar, pés, mas não podem andar; nem emitem som algum com a garganta.

8 Tornem-se como eles aqueles que os fazem e todos os que neles confiam.

9 Confie no Senhor, ó Israel! Ele é o seu socorro e o seu escudo.

10 Confiem no Senhor, sacerdotes! Ele é o seu socorro e o seu escudo.

11 Vocês que temem ao Senhor, confiem no Senhor! Ele é o seu socorro e o seu escudo.

12 O Senhor lembra-se de nós e nos abençoará: Abençoará os israelitas, abençoará os sacerdotes,

13 abençoará os que temem o Senhor, do menor ao maior.

14 Que o Senhor os multiplique, a vocês e aos seus filhos.

15 Sejam vocês abençoados pelo Senhor, que fez os céus e a terra.

16 Os mais altos céus pertencem ao Senhor, mas a terra ele a confiou ao homem.

17 Os mortos não louvam o Senhor, tampouco nenhum dos que descem ao silêncio.

18 Mas nós bendiremos o Senhor, desde agora e para sempre! Aleluia!
