1 住在至高者的隐密处的， 必在全能者的荫庇下安居。 2 我要对耶和华说： "你是我的避难所， 我的保障， 你是我的 神， 我所倚靠的。" 3 他必救你脱离捕鸟的人的网罗， 脱离致命的瘟疫。 4 他必用自己的羽毛遮盖你， 你要投靠在他的翅膀底下； 他的信实像盾牌， 像坚垒。 5 你不必害怕黑夜的惊恐， 或是白日的飞箭； 6 也不必害怕黑暗中流行的瘟疫， 或是在正午把人毁灭的毒病。 7 虽有千人仆倒在你的左边， 万人仆倒在你的右边， 但灾害必不临近你。 8 不过你要亲眼观看， 看见恶人遭报。 9 你既然把耶和华当作自己的避难所， 把至高者当作自己的居所， 10 祸患必不临到你， 灾害必不临近你的帐棚。 11 因为他为了你， 会吩咐自己的使者， 在你所行的一切路上保护你。 12 他们必用手托住你， 免得你的脚碰到石头。 13 你必践踏狮子和虺蛇。你必踏碎少壮狮子和大蛇。 14 耶和华说： "因为他恋慕我， 我必搭救他； 因为他认识我的名， 我必保护他。 15 他求告我， 我必应允他； 他在患难中， 我必与他同在； 我必拯救他， 使他得尊荣。 16 我必使他得享长寿， 又向他显明我的救恩。"

1 He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually,2 He is saying of Jehovah, `My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,`3 For He delivereth thee from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.4 With His pinion He covereth thee over, And under His wings thou dost trust, A shield and buckler [is] His truth.5 Thou art not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flieth by day,6 Of pestilence in thick darkness that walketh, Of destruction that destroyeth at noon,7 There fall at thy side a thousand, And a myriad at thy right hand, Unto thee it cometh not nigh.8 But with thine eyes thou lookest, And the reward of the wicked thou seest,9 (For Thou, O Jehovah, [art] my refuge,) The Most High thou madest thy habitation.10 Evil happeneth not unto thee, And a plague cometh not near thy tent,11 For His messengers He chargeth for thee, To keep thee in all thy ways,12 On the hands they bear thee up, Lest thou smite against a stone thy foot.13 On lion and asp thou treadest, Thou trampest young lion and dragon.14 Because in Me he hath delighted, I also deliver him -- I set him on high, Because he hath known My name.15 He doth call Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honour him.16 With length of days I satisfy him, And I cause him to look on My salvation!
