Salmos 1

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.*1.1 ungodly: or, wicked

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.*1.3 wither: Heb. fade

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

1 BIENAVENTURADO el varón que no anduvo en consejo de malos,

Ni estuvo en camino de pecadores,

Ni en silla de ✝1.1 Pr. 1.22.escarnecedores se ha sentado;

2 Antes en la ley de Jehová está su delicia,

Y ✝1.2 Sal. 119.1,97.en su ley medita de día y de noche.

3 Y será ✝1.3 Nm. 24.6.como el árbol plantado junto á arroyos de aguas,

Que da su fruto en su tiempo,

Y su hoja no cae;

Y todo lo que hace, ✝1.3 Gn. 39.3,23.prosperará.

4 No así los malos:

Sino ✝1.4 Job 21.18. Sal. 35.5. Is. 29.5.como el tamo que arrebata el viento.

5 Por tanto no ✝1.5 Sal. 5.5. Nah. 1.6.se levantarán los malos en el juicio,

Ni los pecadores en la congregación de los justos.

6 Porque ✝1.6 Sal. 37.18. Nah. 1.7. Jn. 10.14.Jehová conoce el camino de los justos;

Mas la senda de los malos perecerá.
