Salmos 86

A Prayer of David.

1 Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.*86.1 A Prayer…: or, A Prayer, being a Psalm of David

2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.*86.2 holy: or, one whom thou favourest

3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.*86.3 daily: or, all the day

4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

6 Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

8 Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

11 Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

13 For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.*86.13 hell: or, grave

14 O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.*86.14 violent: Heb. terrible

15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

16 O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

17 Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.

Oración de David.

1 INCLINA, oh Jehová, tu oído, y óyeme;

Porque ✝86.1 Sal. 40.17 y 70.5.estoy afligido y menesteroso.

2 Guarda mi alma, ✝86.2 Sal. 50.5.porque soy pío:

Salva tú, oh Dios mío, á tu siervo que en ti confía.

3 ✝ 86.3 Sal. 56.1. Ten misericordia de mí, oh Jehová:

Porque á ti clamo todo el día.

4 Alegra el alma de tu siervo:

✝ 86.4 Sal. 25.1. Porque á ti, oh Señor, levanto mi alma.

5 Porque tú, Señor, eres bueno y perdonador,

Y ✝86.5 Ex. 34.6.grande en misericordia para con todos los que te invocan.

6 ✝ 86.6 Sal. 55.1,2. Escucha, oh Jehová, mi oración,

Y está atento á la voz de mis ruegos.

7 ✝ 86.7 Sal. 77.2. En el día de mi angustia te llamaré:

Porque tú me respondes.

8 ✝ 86.8 Ex. 15.11. Oh Señor, ninguno hay como tú entre los dioses,

Ni obras que igualen tus obras.

9 ✝ 86.9 Sal. 22.31. Is. 66.18. Ap. 15.4. Todas las gentes que hiciste vendrán y se humillarán delante de ti, Señor;

Y glorificarán tu nombre.

10 Porque tú eres grande, y hacedor de maravillas:

Consolida mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.

1 Gloria de Sión.

2 Súplica por el divino socorro.

12 Te alabaré, oh Jehová Dios mío, con todo mi corazón;

Y glorificaré tu nombre para siempre.

13 Porque tu misericordia es grande para conmigo;

Y has ✝86.13 Sal. 56.13 y 116.8.librado mi alma del hoyo profundo.

14 Oh Dios, ✝86.14 Sal. 54.3.soberbios se levantaron contra mí,

Y conspiración de fuertes ha buscado mi alma,

Y no te pusieron delante de sí.

15 ✝ 86.15 Ex. 34.6. Mas tú, Señor, Dios misericordioso y clemente,

Lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia y verdad;

16 ✝ 86.16 Sal. 25.16. Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí:

Da tu fortaleza á ✝86.16 Sal. 116.16.tu siervo,

Y guarda al hijo de tu sierva.

17 Haz conmigo señal ✝86.17 Neh. 5.19 y 13.31.para bien,

Y veánla los que me aborrecen, y sean avergonzados;

Porque tú, Jehová, me ayudaste, y me consolaste.
