Salmos 32

A Psalm of David, Maschil.

1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.*32.1 A Psalm…: or, A Psalm of David giving instruction

2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.*32.6 when…: Heb. of finding

7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.*32.8 guide…: Heb. counsel thee, mine eye shall be upon thee

9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Salmo de David: Masquil.

1 BIENAVENTURADO ✝32.1 Ro. 4.7,8.aquel cuyas iniquidades son perdonadas, y borrados sus pecados.

2 Bienaventurado el hombre á quien no imputa ✝32.2 2 Co. 5.19.Jehová la iniquidad,

Y ✝32.2 Jn. 1.47.en cuyo espíritu no hay superchería.

3 Mientras callé, envejeciéronse ✝32.3 Sal. 102.3.mis huesos

En mi gemir todo el día.

4 Porque de día y de noche ✝32.4 Is. 5.6,11. Sal. 38.2.se agravó sobre mí tu mano;

Volvióse mi verdor en sequedades de estío. (Selah.)

5 ✝ 32.5 Sal. 51.3. Mi pecado te declaré, y no encubrí mi iniquidad.

Y tú perdonaste la maldad de mi pecado. (Selah.)

6 Por esto orará á ti todo santo en el ✝32.6 Sal. 69.13.tiempo de poder hallarte:

Ciertamente en la inundación de muchas aguas no llegarán éstas á él.

7 ✝ 32.7 Sal. 9.9. Tú eres mi refugio; me guardarás de angustia;

Con cánticos de liberación me rodearás. (Selah.)

8 ✝ 32.8 Sal. 73.24. Te haré entender, y te enseñaré el camino en que debes andar:

Sobre ti fijaré mis ojos.
