Salmos 3

A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son.

1 LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.

2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.*3.3 for: or, about

4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

1 ¡OH Jehová, ✝3.1 2 S. 15.12.cuánto se han multiplicado mis enemigos!

Muchos se levantan contra mí.

2 Muchos dicen de mi vida:

3 Mas tú, Jehová, ✝3.3 Gn. 15.1. Sal. 28.7.eres escudo alrededor de mí:

Mi gloria, y ✝3.3 Sal. 27.6.el que ensalza mi cabeza.

4 Con mi voz clamé á Jehová,

Y ✝3.4 Sal. 34.4.él me respondió desde el monte de ✝3.4 Sal. 2.6.su santidad. (Selah.)

5 Yo ✝3.5 Sal. 4.8.me acosté, y dormí,

Y desperté; porque Jehová me sostuvo.

6 ✝ 3.6 Sal. 27.3. No temeré de diez millares de pueblos,

Que pusieren cerco contra mí.

7 Levántate, Jehová; sálvame, Dios mío:

Porque tú heriste á todos mis enemigos en la quijada;

Los dientes de los malos quebrantaste.

8 ✝ 3.8 Sal. 37.39. De Jehová es la salud:

Sobre tu pueblo será tu bendición. (Selah.)
