Salmos 47

To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.

1 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.*47.1 for: or, of

2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

5 God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.*47.7 with: or, every one that hath

8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.*47.9 princes…: or, voluntary of the people are gathered unto the people of the God of Abraham

Aclamad á Dios con voz de júbilo.

2 Porque Jehová el Altísimo ✝47.2 Dt. 7.21. Neh. 1.5.es terrible;

✝ 47.2 Mal. 1.14. Rey grande sobre toda la tierra.

3 ✝ 47.3 Sal. 18.47. El sujetará á los pueblos debajo de nosotros,

Y á las gentes debajo de nuestros pies.

4 El nos elegirá ✝47.4 1 P. 1.4.nuestras heredades;

Jehová con sonido de trompeta.

6 Cantad á Dios, cantad:

Cantad á nuestro Rey, cantad.

7 Porque Dios es ✝47.7 Zac. 14.9.el Rey de toda la tierra:

Asentóse Dios sobre su santo trono.

9 Los príncipes de los pueblos se juntaron

Al pueblo del Dios de Abraham:

Porque de Dios son los ✝47.9 Sal. 89.18.escudos de la tierra;
