Salmos 75

To the chief Musician, Al-taschith, A Psalm or Song of Asaph.

1 Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.*75.1 Al-taschith: or, Destroy not*75.1 of: or, for

2 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.*75.2 receive…: or, take a set time

3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

4 I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.*75.6 south: Heb. desert

7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

9 But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

1 ALABARÉMOSTE, oh Dios, alabaremos;

Cuenten tus maravillas.

2 Cuando yo tuviere tiempo,

Yo juzgaré rectamente.

3 Arruinábase la tierra y sus moradores:

Yo sostengo sus ✝75.3 1 S. 2.8. Sal. 11.3.columnas. (Selah.)

1 Dios ensalza y abate.

2 Majestad y poder de Dios.

4 Dije á los ✝75.4 Sal. 5.5.insensatos: No os infatuéis;

Y á los impíos: No levantéis el cuerno:

5 No levantéis en alto vuestro cuerno;

No habléis con ✝75.5 1 S. 2.3. Job 15.26.cerviz erguida.

6 Porque ni de oriente, ni de occidente,

Ni del desierto viene el ensalzamiento.

7 Mas ✝75.7 Sal. 50.6.Dios es el juez:

✝ 75.7 1 S. 2.7. A éste abate, y á aquel ensalza.

8 Porque ✝75.8 Sal. 11.6.el cáliz está ✝75.8 Job 21.20.en la mano de Jehová, y el vino es tinto,

Lleno de mistura; y él derrama del mismo:

Ciertamente sus heces chuparán y beberán todos los impíos de la tierra.

9 Mas yo anunciaré siempre,

Cantaré alabanzas al Dios de Jacob.
