Salmos 64

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

1 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?*64.5 matter: or, speech*64.5 of…: Heb. to hide his snares

6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.*64.6 they…: or, we are consumed by that which they have throughly searched*64.6 a diligent…: Heb. a search searched

7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.*64.7 shall they…: Heb. their wound shall be

8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

1 ESCUCHA, oh Dios, mi voz en mi oración:

Guarda mi vida del miedo del enemigo.

2 Escóndeme del secreto consejo de los malignos;

De la conspiración de los que obran iniquidad:

3 ✝ 64.3 Sal. 57.4. Que amolaron su lengua como cuchillo,

Y armaron por su ✝64.3 Sal. 58.7.saeta palabra amarga;

4 Para asaetear á escondidas al íntegro:

De improviso lo asaetean, y no temen.

5 Obstinados en su inicuo designio,

Tratan de esconder los lazos,

Y dicen: ✝64.5 Job 22.13. Sal. 10.11.¿Quién los ha de ver?

6 Inquieren iniquidades, hacen una investigación exacta;

Y el íntimo pensamiento de cada uno de ellos, así como el corazón, es profundo.

7 ✝ 64.7 Sal. 7.12,13. Mas Dios los herirá con saeta;

De repente serán sus plagas.

8 Y harán ✝64.8 Pr. 18.7.caer sobre sí sus mismas lenguas:

✝ 64.8 Sal. 31.11. Se espantarán todos los que los vieren.

9 ✝ 64.9 Sal. 40.3. Y temerán todos los hombres,

Y anunciarán la obra de Dios,

Y entenderán su hecho.

10 ✝ 64.10 Sal. 32.11. Alegraráse el justo en Jehová, y confiaráse en él;

Y se gloriarán todos los rectos de corazón.
