Salmos 7

Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite.

1 O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:*7.1 words: or, business

2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.*7.2 none…: Heb. not a deliverer

3 O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;

4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)

5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.

6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.

7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.

8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.

9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.*7.10 My…: Heb. My buckler is upon God

11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.*7.11 judgeth…: or, is a righteous judge

12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.

14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.*7.15 He made a pit: Heb. He hath digged a pit

16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

Sigaión de David, que cantó á Jehová sobre las palabras de Cus, hijo de Benjamín.

1 JEHOVÁ Dios mío, ✝7.1 Sal. 2.12.en ti he confiado:

✝ 7.1 Sal. 31.15. Sálvame de todos los que me persiguen, y líbrame;

1 "Mi escudo está en Dios."

2 La gloria de Dios Creador.

2 No sea que arrebate mi alma, cual león

✝ 7.2 Sal. 50.22. Que despedaza, sin que haya quien libre.

3 Jehová Dios mío, ✝7.3 2 S. 16.7,8.si yo he hecho esto,

Si hay ✝7.3 1 S. 24.11.en mis manos iniquidad;

4 Si dí mal pago al pacífico conmigo,

(Hasta ✝7.4 1 S. 24.7.he libertado al que sin causa era mi enemigo;)

5 Persiga el enemigo mi alma, y alcánce la;

Y pise en tierra mi vida,

Y mi honra ponga en el polvo. (Selah.)

6 Levántate; oh Jehová, con tu furor;

✝ 7.6 Sal. 94.2. Alzate á causa de las iras de mis angustiadores,

Y ✝7.6 Sal. 35.23.despierta en favor mío el juicio que mandaste.

7 Y te rodeará concurso de pueblo;

Por cuyo amor vuélvete luego á levantar en alto.

8 Jehová juzgará los pueblos:

✝ 7.8 Sal. 18.20. Júzgame, oh Jehová, conforme á mi justicia y conforme á mi integridad.

9 Consúmase ahora la malicia de los inicuos, y establece al justo;

✝ 7.9 1 S. 16.7. 1 Cr. 28.9. Sal. 139.1. Jer. 11.20 y 17.10 y 20.12. Pues el Dios justo prueba ✝7.9 Ap. 2.23.los corazones y los riñones.

10 Mi escudo está en Dios,

Que salva á los rectos de corazón.

11 Dios es el que juzga al justo:

Y Dios está airado todos los días contra el impío.

12 Si no se convirtiere, él ✝7.12 Dt. 32.41.afilará su espada:

Armado tiene ya su arco, y lo ha preparado.

13 Asimismo ha aparejado para él armas de muerte;

Ha labrado sus saetas para los que persiguen.

14 ✝ 7.14 Job 15.35. Is. 59.4. Stg. 1.15. He aquí ha tenido parto de iniquidad:

Concibió trabajo, y parió mentira.

15 Pozo ha cavado, y ahondádolo;

16 ✝ 7.16 1 R. 2.32. Est. 9.25. Su trabajo se tornará sobre su cabeza,

Y su agravio descenderá sobre su mollera.

17 Alabaré yo á Jehová conforme á su justicia,

Y cantaré al nombre de Jehová el Altísimo.
