Salmos 38

A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.

1 O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2 For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.

3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.*38.3 rest: Heb. peace, or, health

4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.

6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.*38.6 troubled: Heb. wried

7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.

8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.

10 My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.*38.10 is gone…: Heb. is not with me

11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.*38.11 sore: Heb. stroke*38.11 my kinsmen: or, my neighbours

12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.

13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

14 Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

15 For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.*38.15 in…: or, thee do I wait for*38.15 hear: or, answer

16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.*38.17 to halt: Heb. for halting

18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.*38.19 are lively…: Heb. being living, are strong

20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.

21 Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.

22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.*38.22 to…: Heb. for my help

Salmo de David, ✝38 Sal. 70. tít.para recordar.

1 JEHOVÁ, ✝38.1 Sal. 6.1.no me reprendas en tu furor,

Ni me castigues en tu ira.

2 Porque ✝38.2 Job 6.4.tus saetas descendieron á mí,

Y ✝38.2 Sal. 32.4.sobre mí ha caído tu mano.

3 No hay sanidad en mi carne á causa de tu ira;

✝ 38.3 Sal. 6.2. Ni hay paz en mis huesos á causa de mi pecado.

4 Porque ✝38.4 Esd. 9.6.mis iniquidades han pasado mi cabeza:

Como carga pesada se han ✝38.4 Mt. 11.28.agravado sobre mí.

5 ✝ 38.5 Is. 1.6. Pudriéronse, corrompiéronse mis llagas,

A causa de mi locura.

6 Estoy encorvado, ✝38.6 Sal. 35.14.estoy humillado en gran manera,

Ando enlutado todo el día.

7 Porque mis lomos están llenos de irritación,

Y no hay sanidad en mi carne.

8 Estoy debilitado y molido en gran manera;

✝ 38.8 Sal. 22.1. Bramo á causa de la conmoción de mi corazón.

9 Señor, delante de ti están todos mis deseos;

Y mi suspiro no te es oculto.

10 Mi corazón está acongojado, hame dejado mi vigor;

Y aun ✝38.10 Sal. 6.7.la misma luz de mis ojos no está conmigo.

11 ✝ 38.11 Sal. 31.11 y 88.18. Mis amigos y mis compañeros se quitaron de delante de mi plaga;

Y mis cercanos ✝38.11 Mt. 27.55.se pusieron lejos.

12 Y los que buscaban mi alma ✝38.12 2 S. 17.1,2,3.armaron lazos;

✝ 38.12 2 S. 16.7,8. Y los que procuraban mi mal hablaban iniquidades,

Y meditaban fraudes todo el día.

13 Mas yo, como si fuera sordo no oía;

✝ 38.13 Sal. 39.2,9. Y estaba como un mudo, que no abre su boca.

14 Fuí pues como un hombre que no oye,

Y que en su boca no tiene reprensiones.

15 Porque á ti, oh Jehová, esperé yo:

Tú responderás, Jehová Dios mío.

16 Porque dije: ✝38.16 Sal. 13.4.Que no se alegren de mí:

Cuando mi pie resbalaba, sobre mí se engrandecían.

17 Empero yo estoy á pique de claudicar,

Y mi dolor está delante de mí continuamente.

18 Por tanto denunciaré mi maldad;

✝ 38.18 2 Co. 7.9,10. Congojaréme por mi pecado.

19 Porque mis enemigos están vivos y fuertes:

Y ✝38.19 Sal. 35.19.hanse aumentado los que me aborrecen sin causa:

20 Y ✝38.20 Sal. 35.12.pagando mal por bien

Me son contrarios, ✝38.20 1 P. 3.13. 1 Jn. 3.12.por seguir yo lo bueno.

21 No me desampares, oh Jehová:

Dios mío, no te alejes de mí.

22 Apresúrate á ayudarme,

Oh Señor, mi salud.
