1 Ó Deus, não guardes silêncio; Não te cales nem fiques quieto, ó Deus.2 Pois eis que os teus inimigos fazem tumultos, E os que te odeiam, alçam a cabeça.3 Formam planos cavilosos contra o teu povo, E juntos consultam contra os teus protegidos.4 Eles dizem: Vinde, e destruamo-los para que não constituam nação; Assim não será lembrado mais o nome de Israel.5 Pois juntos e unânimes se têm consultado, Contra ti fazem aliança,6 As tendas de Edom e os ismaelitas, Moabe os hagarenos;7 Gebal, Amom e Amaleque; A Filístia com os habitantes de Tiro.8 A Assíria também está aliada com eles; Têm auxiliado aos filhos de Ló.
